  1. Do not let your height interfere for your attitude to date people. Any kind and loving guy would be more concerned about the person you are, not by the way you look. Just keep your head up and keep searching, your bound to find someone.

    Jealousy?

Most likely she will forget about it sooner or later. I can gurantee you wont hear anymore comments in the case that she hooks up with someone soon. Jealously is really all it is, Ive come accross the same situation in some of my previous relationships and I didnt let it bother me.
  3. Well I wouldnt worry too much about it, I was faced with a similar situation. My gf asked me if I wanted to go on vacation with her and her family 7 months ahead. I was only with her for like 3 months and it made me feel a little awkward cause I had no idea where we would end up by that time. In the end everything turned out fine and I went along and had a great time. Its all up to you really, I dont think hes gonna feel that your smothering him already. Just kinda bring it up, dont have him answer right away
  4. Well if he calls you names and hates it when you call him then I wouldnt even bother with him. Hes not worth your time, there are other guys out there that will treat you with more respect then that.
  5. There is hope...but you need to lay the law down and say enough is enough. What happened in the past is old history and should not be brung up in fighting now. The fighting is obviously upsetting you and making you feel like all the things you did were wrong. Sure everybody makes their share of mistakes in a relationship, but the important thing is to maturely overcome them together. If she can't realize that then she is being immature and selfish.
  6. Why is your family diapproving your relationship? Are they just so bothered that he has two daughters?
  7. Well all you really have to do is go up to her and bring up some small talk about how your day is or what class she was just in. Since she is a friend of your GF, im sure your GF will understand and not feel hurt by talking to her. As you said you dont have those kind of intentions for her friend, which is good. Take it from me, its never good to go out with or hit on your GF's friends, ive done it once by accident and it put me in a boatload of trouble. But anyways just work up the courage to have a little conversation with her, its not as bad as you think it will be. Whats the worst that could happen? Go for it now and dont put if off.
  8. Well i think he is saying this because he wants to become more intimate with you, but is afraid to commit to a serious relationship with you. You dont have to change the way you are though just because he gets jealous. If you want to talk to other guy friends and have a good time you have every right to. If he can't understand that then its his problem. Just ask him flat out what is really on his mind and what he thinks about you.
  9. Well your right, you shouldn't care about if what you are doing is gonna make your best friend mad or not. You have you own mind and you can make your own decisions without her consent. If she can't respect that then she is just being immature about the whole situation. You can only try so much to keep in contact with her and hang out, but she also has to put out the effort. As far as the trust situation with dating guys, you just have to take it slow and get to know him before you start a relationship. As you said you have had many bad experiences in relationships in the past. Everybody does, I've been through more than I want to remember, but in the end you find that one person that you love in every way and you will just know things are right. Good luck and keep us updated.
  10. Try to get a ride from another friend because theres probably a good chance that something about the relationship will be brought up. This will not only make you feel upset but it will probably leave the rest of the car ride being very quiet and an unenjoyable situation.
  11. Well the next time you go into school, dress in something very appealing and presentable to catch his eye. If he looks at you give him a big smile, chances are he will probably walk over to you to say hi. If not get yourself close enough to him without actually approaching him. As far as the breakup of the past relationship, only you can decide what feels like the right to talk and become flirty with other guys. If you know your truly over the relationship then go for it.
  12. Well I recommend that you just give her a little more time to think things threw and adapt to living far away from you. If she doesn't contact you within a week call her or e-mail her to tell her how you feel. If she is really in love with you she should be doing everything in her power to make the relationship work out. Going to different college is always a tough spot for any couple, but as long as both people truly love each other, there is a way to make it work. I've been through a similiar situation before, but it brought about an unexpected outcome...
  13. When your having a conversation with somebody you really should find the hotspot phrase that sparks their interest and gets them rambling on. You could just start by asking some things about what they like to do or if they saw a recent movie lately. Then again sometimes you will just get stuck with that person thats really shy and doesnt say much of anything. Theres only really so much you can try to communicate about in a scenario like that.
  14. Yeah that thing that happened at the party was probably just a one night fling type of thing. Keep your options open and mingle with others until you find somebody that really sticks out of the crowd. If the smoking thing bothers you im sure you'll be able to find another attractive guy that doesn't smoke.
  15. Axe is alright, I havent tried Tag yet. There both kinda expensive so i dont get them all the time.
  16. Hmm your situation is almost kinda sounding like my current relationship...My gf also gets out of control and overemotional about little things sometimes. After this kept happening over and over it kinda made me have doubts in our relationship. I love her and I dont want to loose her, but its just sometimes she gets too out of control and I cant stand it. We sort of discussed it indirectly and stuff and I just told her that she cant always take these minor things to the extremes and get upset about it. When you get older your gonna face many things everyday that upset you with your boss or co-workers. I told her its not only hurting her but its also effecting the people around her. She said she realized that she has been overreacting about things and has been doing better now. That kinda stuff is always normal when a girl is having their period but if you get too carried away with your moodswings, you really have to just stop yourself and think: Is this really gonna make the situation any better? I really dont that your boyfriend wants to leave you over this. But you just have to take control of your emotions when something upsets you. Good luck with things.
  17. Yeah i use to be like that too kinda in high school, I was quiet and let people take advantage of me. At one point you just come to realize that enough is enough and you take charge. Im not saying about getting in a fight or anything Im just saying to get your point accross. He will one day realize that he has the wrong type of friends and will join another crowd. The best thing to do is be there for him and have him think good thoughts.
  18. Take some time to just go out and enjoy yourself. Get together with your friends and have some fun. The best thing to do right now is to not think about the situation and let it pull you down. When he is ready to have a serious talk he will come back to discuss it with you. If you really care for him just give him a little time to think things through, hes still is hurt by what his ex did to him. As long as you can show him that you really care about him without pressuring him into any decisions im sure things will go fine. Good luck to you.
  19. Yeah dont beat yourself up over the relationship ending...he was a jerk for not coming to see you. When he says he doesnt want to spread himself "too thin", thats just an excuse...Lay low and just dont contact him for a while, see if his attitude changes at all. Just because this relationship didn't work out doesn't mean that they all will be bad. You have to wipe the slate clean with the next person and slowly start to get to know them.
  20. I agree with the first reply. I think she is just taking this time to get over the guilt of deciding between two people. Don't close the doors for other possible opportunities with girls. If this girl really loves you then she will come back to you.
  21. I dont think its anything to really get worried about, but if it bothers you a lot just tell him about it. If he is constantly flirting with this girl that you don't like then you should probably keep an eye on him.
  22. Thank you all for your replies, didn't know i would hear back from anyone so quickly hehe. I will encourage her to expand onto other exercises that she enjoys doing and I will probably even participate with her. Thanks again!
  23. Hi Im just posting to get some advice on tips for weightloss. My gf really wants to loose 25-30 and has been using the treadmill everyday for 4 weeks. I have always been there to help encourage her and tell her that she is doing good. She has only lost little bit a weight and is more rational with her meals. Is there any good exercises she could do daily to trim off fat and get in good shape? Running isnt really enough theres gotta be some type of workout that really works.
  24. Hey my girlfriend wants to lose about 25-30 pounds to feel better about herself and her image. I told her I love her no matter what and I will help support her and encourage her. For the past two weeks she has been running twice a day for about 30 minutes each and then does a 8 min abs workout. She also portions her meals more and watches what she eats. Are these two exercises enough to help her loose the weight that she wants or should she be do other exercises. If so what kind of workout would you really see results from? Please give me your input.
  25. Give it a chance...hang out with him see what hes feeling and if hes into you. If not then no big deal there is always someone else that will be living in a closer distance to you.
