  1. Thats right you dont want to let a potential opportunity of a good girlfriend slipping by cuz you dont get too many of them in life...Give it a shot. Tell her how you feel and see what happens.
  2. Shes right...its better to go on searching for someone else in your life, you dont want to waste too much of your life waiting on a shallow hope that he will come back.
  3. Yeah just take things slow, dont go asking her out right away. Give it a couple of days talking to her and walking with her to and from some of the classes. Once she gets to know the basic gist of you she will feel more comfortable around you.
  4. Dont get such a big head over it, we all go through mistakes like that. Just tell your boyfriend to take things more slowly and just let things develop on their own. You probably got really uncomfortable cuz you thought too much about it and you were unsure about your decision. Your boyfriend shouldnt feel offended if you say no. Its always important to dicuss about what feels good and doesnt in a relationship because you can work it out together.
  5. Yes shes right, a little distance is your best bet for right now. Give her a couple days to miss you and think about all the good times you've shared together. Wait until she calls you to get together; you dont want to seem too pushy or clingy right now.
  6. Yeah hes right, maybe you guys should slow things down a notch. It takes a lot of time to really get to know that person that you want to be with. They may seem like a treasure at first but your attitudes about them could change in a matter of 3 months.....Its happened to me once before so I know how it can be...Romance takes a lot of time and committment to develop into something beautiful and everlasting.
  7. Well just take the advice from what the others have said before, take it more slowly. Maybe give him a day or 2 of not being online to have him thinking about you more. He might have just cut off from the conversation cuz he was really tired and didnt want to get involved in a long talk at the moment. Or he could just be a little afraid cuz you might be coming on too strong too soon. Dont get too worried about it, im sure its nothing....just give him a day or so and then talk to him again. Hope everything goes ok, let us know then.
  8. I really dont think that the problem has anything to do with you, its just the situation. You both will be taking a huge step forward in life by moving in together. Hes got the attitude with you because he probably feels unsure about things and maybe a little rushed. You've got to meet up with him face to face and sit down to talk about it in a mature manner. If he still ends up acting that way the id think its a lot more complicated then just the moving part. Im sure he wont continue to be like this....everybody gets moody for a couple days sometimes.
  9. Dont get to worked up about it, just play it cool. You never know she might be waiting for you to ask her out. Girls are like that......trust me i know. They always expect the guy to do all the work! But anyways just use that random humor that you do with her and just bring up something in a conversation. Say something like "hey do you want to go to the movies with me sometime? *Movie Title* is playing this weekend and I heard its really good" If she goes with you make it just seem like a get together thing, not so much of a date. If things turn out to go really great when you guys are their ask her if she wants to get somethign to eat afterwards. Thats the best time you can really get to talk to her and tell her how you feel. She just might feel the same...
  10. Dont let him brainwash you into feeling sorry for him when he says he loves you and everything. If he really loves you then he should be suck this cruel monster that he is now, theres no reason for it. I know its hard to forget him cuz you still love him. But you need to overcome from feeling week and get on with your life. I just hope that eventually he will wake up and realize what he is doing to his gf that is so caring. Keep us informed and good luck.
  11. Hey everyone, I just wanted to get some advice from others on this cuz im really concerned about it. Well...my best friend Kyle got back together with his ex-gf from 9th grade. At that time they were together for about 9 months and broke up because of things with school. Now they are both graduated and have been together for about 3 months now. What worries me is that he has told me that in exactly 1 year of being with her he wants to propose to her. He is serious about it too, hes saving up money now to buy the engagment ring.... To make the matters more difficult my other friend Steve, who we are both friends with told me about what Kyle's gf said to him. She told him that she had liked Steve all throughout high school. Kyle is aware of this and doesnt mind the fact of it. But what he doesnt know is that his gf still likes Steve but she doesnt want to breakup with Kyle. Im just worried that since my friend is so serious about his gf that he should now that she is showing mixed feelings. Steve made me promise not to say anything to him about it cuz he know he will go nuts. I dont know what to do......I dont want to see my friend possibly get heartbroken in the future.
  12. Well after reading some of your previous posts about that hateful e-mail he sent you back about your appology and the other things he did, I would totally forgot him and exclude him from your life. From the way he is acting it seems like something is also going on that he is not telling you about. Why would he want to avoid talking to you on the phone and hang up on you? Could possibly be another woman or something; hopefully thats not the case...But anyways you need to forget about him, he has put you through more verbal abuse than you need in your life. There are other guys out there in the world that will treat you with the respect and care you need. Not all guys are a#$#$#$s like this guy, so dont let this dissuade you about looking for someone else in the future. My best advice to give you now is to keep yourself busy with things; hang out with your friends, spend time with other loved ones; and avoid doing things that remind you of your relationship with him. You are not being the drama queen he says you are, that is really out of line and awful to say to your girlfriend. Good luck and keep us posted, feel free to PM me if you like. Take care.
  13. Well guys cheat because they usually want what they cant have and will do anything to get it.....I'll admit I have cheated once before when I was younger and stupid, but I learned from my mistakes and heartaches and its something I could never do again. I can see how your so concerned about his faithfulness to you because of the way his friend is...but dont get too worried about it. Hes an adult and should be mature enough to make his own decisions without his friends influence. A lot of people think Im an attractive and interesting guy because I drive a mustang, but I dont have the girls all over me. I wouldnt want to be liked for just looks cuz I think that is really shallow. Dont loose trust in your bf, just tell him how you feel and that you couldnt bare having your heart broken again by another guy.
  14. Sometimes I feel really kind of empty inside....I wish I had something that I was really good at that I could make into a regular hobby, but im not really too good at anything except computers. Im not a geek or anything like that I was just in vo-tech for a couple years and learned a lot of stuff. I see that my friends all have hobbies like skating, music, car, etc...but I dont really want my only hobby to known in computers. And I dont feel like alone or anythign either cuz I have a gf that I love so much and is always there for me. My friends are also very supportive too at the times when I need them most. I just dont know what I can do...yesterday was so depressing cuz I was home alone all day with nothing to do and all my friends and gf were busy doing stuff. It felt like the worst feeling in the world......and I couldnt stand it so I just left the house for a little bit and went for a bike ride, which I usually never do. Could somebody please give me a take on this cuz I really want to make something of myself in life....I dont want to be left hobbyless.
  15. I think things sound like they are going just fine....Just give it some for things to progress so you can get to know each other more deeply. Even though you feel really infatuated with him right now dont rush things to fast because it could just cause a bunch of unwanted problems. It obviously sounds like he wants you to be his girl, so let him work him charm and let the magic happen.
  16. They are right man, you need to get out of the house more. Go anywhere even if your stuck going by yourself. Try hanging around a movie theater entrance cuz there are usually a lot of single girls walking around that like to talk. Just put down the video game controller and get out there to experience lifes adventures. Because by staying inside playing games the only adventure you are gonna have is the fiction one through a tv screen....
  17. You dont necessarily have to always pressure yourself into thinking of good things to talk about. Just be yourself and be a little more humurous with the people you are having conversations with. It can help make them be more open with you and talk about fun stuff they have done before.
  18. Of course you know if they give you eye contact you better have something good to say along with it to this person.
  19. Sorry to tell you, but yeah it kinda does....If you really cared about your ex before you shouldnt go doing this right now. You should of gave it a lot more time and thought before going out with somebody new.
  20. My advice is to try not to delve into a relationship too quickly. Give it time for it to evolve and become stronger while you get to know each other. One of the worst things to do is rush the other person further into a relationship, because they will always feel unsure about what to do and will often evade it. I also agree with the other post about respect. If things dont work out in the relationship because of the other persons fault, dont hold a grudge on them. Its just not worth it because of all the problems it creates. You both need to be mature adults about the whole thing and just let it go.
  21. I think you should seek help from your friends. They are the people that will truly understand the type of person you are and be able to help you through problems. The only way to solve your problems is to act on it yourself in your own way or seek advice from a close caring friend.
  22. True love to me is.....finding that one person who will become your soulmate filling up all your gaps with happiness. True love is something rare that only comes accross a person once or twice in a lifetime and should be perserved forever. It is that one person who you share limitless compatablities together and love being in each others company. Fights are kept to a minimal and are always worked out bringing you closer together as a couple.
  23. Explain to her nicely that you feel that she should rethink things and make sure she is aware of what shes doing before they tie the knot. Don't just come out and say that hes not the one for you because she will be resentful of you for not being happy for her. Just make sure that she gets to say everything on her mind and doesnt have any doubts about him. If they still decide to get married, then there is nothing you can do about it except be there for her as a friend.
  24. I think that as long as your promise to remain faithful to Jack, he will stay with you. After seeing the letters you have for him, he should release that you know what you did was wrong and that you will never do it again. Just dont do anything in the future to voilate his trust. Trust is a big thing in any relationship and once its lost it could be very hard or impossible to get back.
  25. Just let this guy go, if he hasnt called you back after 32 days it obviously shows that he doesnt care about how you feel. 16 is too young of an age to be planning out a marriage, but you can always dream of it. There are other guys out there that will possibly become the one you were looking for and may even be better than this guy.
