Cutting isn't a mental illness. Its just a very bad addiction, and you need to stop it right now. YOU have the power to stop it. Talk to your doctor, or a school counsellor. They can give you the help you need.

The reason why someone cheats is the same reason why a person wants something better than what they already have: Its that they just haven't learnt to appreciate what they have got right now. Some people have unrealistic expectations of what a relationship will be about, and when they find thier partners can't fulfill those expectations they move on to someone else. Its important to find someone who understands that a relationship is a pernament partnership during good times and bad, not an opportunity to gratify thier own emotional or sexual desires. Also, the old saying "familiarity breads contempt" is true. Some people just take thier loved ones for granted. All they can do is learn to be thankful each and every day for the person they have in thier life. Just make sure that your boyfriend has realistic expectations about the relationship. Also, ask him about his needs and how you can fulfill them, and ask him to fulfill yours too. Also, many people cheat because they have the opportunity to cheat. Opportunity exists he has a lot of unsupervised time in which he works with or spends time with girls he can cheat on. To prevent cheating, you need to find a way to remove the opportunity, so even if he desires to cheat he won't have the opportunity to do so. Some people cheat because they think they can get away with it. Some way or another, each person in the relationship needs to be aware that they won't get away with it, because even if they escape formal punishment, their conscience will eat away at them until they are destroyed. Antcipating the consequences of cheating will be a strong deterrent. Cheating is never inevitable. It can and must be prevented. I really hope this helps!!!!!!!

I have a job interview on Wednesday, and even though its only at Quizno's, its difficult to land ANY job these days. Does anyone have advice on succeeding at job interviews?

I have never found any of my professors attractive...most of them are old (ie. 55+) and thats not my type of thing. Though i do have on TA and she is 28 or so and she is still really really cute. But she is married.....and too old for me......and its wrong to date your teacher....it really is!!!!! Most TA's or professors would lose thier job if they had a relationship with a student, so its completely out of question. Don't even try it. "I think the brain stretching effect of professors can be a sort of aphrodisiac. I am currently chasing my professor through all of the classes that he teaches. Anyone have any ideas on the ethics of the situation? Where I attend school there's a secret underground of grad students seeing their professors--I always used to be confidently disdainful...but now I understand. I have heard that cutting oneself is relatively common, but the practice completely confounds me. I could never imagine hurting myself in anyway. So I would like to know please why some people are cutters and how they may be helped?

I have heard the same thing and believe its true to some extend. But the person you meet and fall in love with also depends on who is available, what interests and ideas you share, and other stuff too. Also, the person I date and marry will NOT in any way be like my parents.

Thats really improper for him to not show affection toward you. Maybe he is scared that any moves might be viewed as inappropriate. There are so many stories of people being accused of sexual harassment over minor things that some people get scared of showing any affection. Also, maybe he is just not sure how you will react to him. Just talk to him about it and express how you feel and that you really want him to show how much he cares about you.

The person who asks for the date or who makes the first move should pay for it. After all, they are trying to impress the other person.

For me I am a virgin, so I really expect the girl I marry to be a virgin also. However, if you really love someone its only right to look past thier flaws and mistakes....so it doesn't really matter. Atleast to me. But for other people it might be really important.

tell the guy you saw him and just politely ask him who he was with. As one person said, it might just be his sister, or cousin, or friend. Don't be quick to jump to any conclusion.

I am sure that guys like to hold girls, but you don't have to scare them!!!! I don't feel any "ego" when i see girls scared and i know i am not scared.

The law can vary. What is legal in one area may not be legal in another area. You can get advise from a law student legal help line. Also there may be other ways of getting legal aid advice on the what exactly the law is in your area.

Hey guys, what do you think when you see your girlfriend / wife hugging another guy? What if that other guy hugs her?

I was really amazing at how selfless and giving most people were in saying they want thier partner to be happy even after they are gone!!! That really touched me. For me, the reason I personally would hate to remarry if my future wife (or close girlfriend) died is that when two people are in love, they become one, and they are inseparable, even after death. I still feel a very strong emotional connection to people and animals I have known who have died, and I feel its wrong to replace them. I am lucky to have never had anyone really close to me die, but it will for sure happen one day. I understand thats its possible to love many people, but when one chooses to be committed in marriage (or a marital like relationship) one becomes ONE and one can not be torn from each other, even after death. For me, I would never love my wife less after death than before it, and we would have a bond that is eternal and that can never be broken.

Something really really bothers me. I know people who have lost thier spouses to death. But later many of them remarry and this really really bothers me. For me, if my wife died, I would never marry another girl. She would only be the ONE in my heart. Even after her death, I could leave her for another. And if I died, I would like the idea of my wife finding someone else....being with him, kissing him, sleeping with him.....that is an unbearable thought. What is your opinion on remarriage after death?

Its not illegal for a 17 year old to date a 13 year old, unless they have sex. But its probably best to wait until you are 16 until you start dating. Some people don't start dating until they are 20 or 25....13 or 16 is not a late time to start dating.

Great Question!!! When I want to know a girl's age, I always ask her what school she went, and then ask her when she graduated. Since most people graduate when they are 18, its easy to estimate her age. This works around 90% of the time....girls just tell me...but a few are smart enough to what you are really asking....LOL
