Well, I like good debates about issues on which we have opposing views but arguments specifically concerning your relationship are probably not that great. Its hard to say, its one of those grey areas. But as long as one of you is not constantly nagging the other and your arguments end in some kind of agreement then I don;t think it si too bad.

Yes, its probably just a hormone thing. You can't do anything about it but it makes it a lot easier if you just blame it on something, like hormones, and tell yourself that tomorrow you will probably feel better. I can't bring myself to kiss a girl until I am certain about her which, with me, usually takes more than 2 dates! I mean, if I decided I didn't really 'click' with her after say 3 or 4 dates then it would be easier to break up with her if we hadn't started kissing and stuff already. If I kissed someone on the cheek at the end of the second date then that is a pretty good sign that I like her! I've read posts on this forum about people who have been going out for months before they kissed, so it's not all that important.

Shy-soul, those analogies about the cars and serving other beings and stuff were just hypothetical examples I was coming up with for how to describe what "a meaning of life" could be. I don't believe those examples are the way it is. As for the higher beings, who says they have to be All-Powerful? A cat is a higher being than an ant but the cat isn't all powerful. I'm just saying they would be higher beings than us. And anyway, as I said above, I don't really believe this is the way it is. Actually I got the name 69king from my golfing buddy the day I shot my first 69 on the golf course. Actually I shot a 67 last year so I guess I could call myself the 67king but 69king is funnier. If I was as good at dating as I was at golf I would not be sitting in front of my computer right now, in fact I'd probably be having a threesome. I'd be putting it in the hole a lot more often!! A date for me in the summer usually involves some kind of fun activity because I am an activity-oriented competitive guy. But I ask her if she would like ot go out again and she says "Yes!" So I call her a few days later and it turns out she can't go out or doesn't want to go or something and basically it is just the end. I feel sad and rejected for a few minutes before I realize it was a lucky escape. Now, I know my problem is I am just not finding any girls who share any common interests with me and I guess this is important to me. That is why I went to an online dating site so I can find out all that stuff without having to go through the whole scenario above. But I still always have this bad feeling in my mouth that she was the one that dumped me.
