  1. So how many of you are driven nuts thinking about your ex doing the nasty with other people? My ex has a high sex drive and I know she's getting on with her life (if you know what I mean). How do you all deal with that? Not only does it bother me that she is kissing and loving someone else but thinking of her pleasing herself with other men... ARGH!! My buddy states the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else. Yeah right. Is it more a selfish control issue?
  2. I like a woman who is fit because that shows she is health conscious (as I am) but I like women who are volumptuous (nice sized breasts and ass). Skinny.. retch. I was with a skinny girl once - no thanks.
  3. Is that the only pub in the town? Or was that a common haunt that neither of you want to give up? After two months you two keep hanging at the same pub? Is it me, or is that kind of weird.
  4. It's been a month for me and I'm still fighting my feelings. She's moved on, I have no doubt of this. I think part of the reason I'm having a problem is because I have regrets in losing this girl due to my own stupidity. So I'm kicking myself and grieving over it. It's easier to forgive other people versus yourself.
  5. OH my god, you just said everything I've felt since my girlfriend/fiance dumped me. It's a month later and she's gotten on with her life and doesn't give a crap about what I'm doing. I'm trying to stay friends but it's hard. I miss all the intimate things we shared. Just kissing and her saying "I love you". I get a sad feeling just thinking about it. In the end she left me because she didn't want to be a step-mom to my two boys. It's a hard way to lose someone. I feel for you all.
  6. A lot of problems exist in this world because we are impatient. Wait, you'll get to a point where you can work and save money and then you can move away from that pisshole. You can save up and take your life into your own hands - move as far away as you want. Just be patient. It won't happen tomorrow and maybe not next year but at some point you'll be driving out of that town, smiling and knowing that you have the rest of your life to decide what YOU'RE going to and where you're going to go. Patience.
  7. Trust me, my life is *beep*ed up too. I have cancer - I don't even have a choice about how long I'll live. If I had a choice I wouldn't be wasting it by killing myself. I've been where you are but you carry on. I mean think about it. No matter how shitty life is, at least there's tomorrow. If you are really serious about killing yourself, take a who give a shit attitude to life. Do what you want, when you want it and not care. Live for the moment. No one or nothing is worth grief as, if they loved you, they wouldn't make you cry.
  8. I thought I found mine too but it wasn't meant to be. I know what you mean though... when that person seems to fit you like a glove and you can't imagine life without them. It's the hardest loss of all.
  9. I felt that way. Unfortunately, if you let life get in the way, it goes away. Enjoy it! Savour it.
  10. I like girls who smile and are fun to be with. As well, a nice tight t-shirt heheh
  11. Did you both sign the lease? Don't let a lease be the reason to stay in a relationship. That's just wrong. He's not worth your affections if he doesn't want to be with just you alone. He sounds like he's using you and manipulating your love. Be strong - chances are you just don't want to be alone. I don't blame you but you have love yourself and staying with a guy like that is not loving yourself.
  12. I've been dealt that excuse. It's a woman's way of saying she's not interested without having to take any responsibility for it. I'd say you should tell her to deal with her shit and when she has to come see you then. She'll just string you along.
  13. Agreed! Don't waste your youth in marriage. Live, explore life, and enjoy yourself. You have lots of time. Don't complicate life with marriage because next you'll have kids and then your freedom is gone. As a rule, no one should be married before 25 because you are still discovering who you are.
  14. Do him and yourself a favor. Tell him until he's figured out what he wants, to not come around. He's not dealing with his stuff when he keeps coming back. He's dragging you down with him. That is not love. He made the decision to end it, now he has to live by that choice. Be strong for both of you. He'll never deal with his issues if he isn't forced to be alone with them.
  15. Basically, you have very few choices. You can be honest and it might drag out for awhile *but* in time she'll get over it and you'll remain close. You can be a jerk and make her hate you *but* it'll be over quick though you'll look like a jerk and you'll lose her friendship. You can wimp out and live in a world of "could of"/"would of"/"should of" where eventually you'll resent her and become a jerk leading back to the 2nd choice above. In summary, honesty is the only way. You have to be strong. It is not the wimps way out. It's going to be difficult but in time she will respect and love you for being honest. It'll just be hell on earth for awhile - get ready for the crying and the begging. Sorry, there's no avoiding it unless you plan on faking your death.
  16. As a man myself, men like it when the woman knows she's hot (confidence). It implies that spending time with her will be exciting. It really depends on what you want. If you just want a hot short term experience be a bitch and imply that you're a good time. If you want a long term relationship, relax, be fun and easy going. It might take some time but eventually he'll see you as fun to be around and what's cooler than hanging out with someone who's fun *and* the opposite sex. That's gold!
  17. From a guy's point of view, he's playing you. I mean he's saying what you want to hear and by saying it he's able to sleep with you still. Not only that he's also go the girl he's living with. There was a reason you threw him out. Don't forget that. You have to remember he was damn lucky to have you and he took it for granted. You have to regain power over your life. The next time he comes over, tease him and then tell him to get lost. Right now he's got control of you, get your life back.
  18. IMHO, you still haven't had closure. Do you feel like your life was better when you were with you ex? Do you mind being alone? Have you dated other women since? Sometimes we feel as if someone was the best we're ever going to do and that our lives are, for all intense purposes, over after the breakup. How will we ever meet someone as good as them again? The truth is you will. You're still young. You can't change your past and you're allowed to grieve but when the grieving lasts longer then the relationship you should seriously look at seeing a professional to help you come to terms with it. Your issues may not even be related to the relationship but something the relationship compensated for and now you're avoiding facing. Consider talking to a psychologist - it might help you find your personal freedom.
