  1. I think it depends on the relationship you are in. Some ppl stay friends with their ex's and then I do not see a problem with this. Some ppl cannot have friends with the opposite sex, then I would be concerned. All my close friends are male, and I have kept in touch with my ex's ( the old saying is once I care, I will always care) however, I would never cross the line. I love my husband far too much- and theres a reason they are "ex"
  2. No your not the only couple this is happening to. I think with work, life, it happens. The key is trying to get back the magic. We also are going through this, so I went out bought some new sexy outfits and going to try and see if we can get away for a weekend. I think the key is trying to keep things spontanous and not over thinking it or neither of you will enjoy it.
  3. I have read every post; just know we are here for ya. I find writing makes me feel better. Friends to talk to help alot. So, go ahead and write, or talk with us. We're here. Plus, Christmas may be a hard time. So drop me a line if you need to.
  4. Nothing wrong with wishing an ex a Merry Christmas, as long as both parties have moved on with their lives. Otherwise, one may think theres more than a simple wish only.
  5. So, what happened? Any news?
  6. Depends how much more time you are willing to invest. I spent 9 years in a relationship that went nowhere. We were both good ppl, just with different interests. I wanted marriage, and he did not. I finally broke it off, and even though it was the hardest thing to do, in the long run I am glad. I now am married, and happier then ever. OF course you will detach from the relationship, its normal. What would make you happy? Can he give it to you? Are you guys looking for the same things long term?
  7. Sorry Blender, hope I did not offend. Just most of my guy friends, and my husband also, have all dreamnt of it. I really like what you wrote, so I take back my "What Man does not want a threesome" There are alot of nice/real men out there, and you have just proven that.
  8. Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) (sometimes referred to as ADD for those without hyperactivity) is thought to be a neurological disorder, always present from childhood, which manifests itself with symptoms such as hyperactivity, forgetfulness, poor impulse control, and distractibility.[1] In neurological pathology, ADHD is currently considered to be a chronic syndrome for which no medical cure is available. ADHD is believed to affect between 3-5% of the United States population, including both children and adults.[2] Controversy surrounds the designation of ADHD as a true medical disorder, such as whether or not the diagnosis denotes a disability in its traditional sense, an impairment, or simply describes the neurological property of an individual. According to a majority of medical research in the United States, as well as other countries, ADHD is today generally regarded to be a non-curable neurological disorder for which, however, a wide range of effective treatments are available. A wide body of evidence has shown that stimulant medication is the most effective way to treat the disorder. Methods of treatment usually involve some combination of medication, psychotherapy, and other techniques. Some patients are able to control their symptoms over time, without the use of medication. Other individuals who meet the diagnostic criteria of ADHD do not consider themselves to be handicapped by the disorder and thereforeeee may remain undiagnosed or, after a positive diagnosis, untreated. ADHD is most commonly diagnosed in children and, over the past decade, has been increasingly diagnosed in adults. It is believed that around 60% of children diagnosed with ADHD retain the disorder as adults Treatable with correct medication.
  9. Kickedin: You have to do what you feel you have to do. Just know we are here for ya. Good luck, let us know how it goes.
  10. I babysat a boy with it a few years ago. Dont know much about it. Found this link that might help? Good luck! link removed
  11. No matter how hard it may be...dont respond, dont call....leave her alone. Sometimes silence is the best way. Trust me, been where you are. All the cards, letters, calls, did not work. It was not until, I did nothing that he tried to get me back. By then it was to late.
  12. I dont think its only men that look at porn. Its out there, I think we all have at some point. Does not mean we love our spouses any less.
  13. "Don't you have somewhere you gotta be?"lol
  14. Something, or some ppl are better left in our past. If he was good for you, then contact him- from what I have read he was not. Karma does have a way of working. Trust me, he will get what he deserves. YOU, deserve better than he gave ya, walk away. Obviously, he has regrets with the way he treated you. Silence sometimes is the worst.
  15. You dont deserve this treatment. Once the trust is gone, what have you got left? Ask yourself if this is something you really want 5, 10 years down the line when you have much more to lose.
  16. Delarcha: So sorry, I just joined today, and found myself unable to stop reading your past few posts. I can see alot of my relationship in a few things you said, and getting a male perspective helps ALOT. I am beginning to see that relationships/marriage are not easy. I work at an Old Age home, and I see couples that have been together for 60 years, and I think WOW, I want that, why is it that in todays age, we see more and more relationships not working out. Sad, really sad. I think that we may think the grass is greener somewhere else, and then we get there and realize thats not true at all. I can only imagine your pain. I have been married for 7 months, together for 6 years, and going through like I said some of the things you wrote. As far as a female perspective goes She loved you and married you, sometimes I wonder if we cannot get back to where we were before, life, work etc, got in the way. Is there any way that you could take her away for a weekend? Surprise her? Take her somewhere she really enjoys? I know you guys have separated however, sometimes getting away really does help. I am sorry, and we are all here for you. Means little to you right now, but we are here. Keep us posted.
  17. What man does not want a threesome?
  18. Its considered cheating when you feel you cannot tell your partner. Trust me been there, wore the shoes, not a nice feeling. Honesty, even if its hard, is the best approach. Perhaps, you two can surf together?
  19. I am a firm believer in thing happen for a reason. Shes in your life still for a reason. Love is not easy, lets face it we all have had our ups and downs. At least if you give it a try, you will have no regrets. Forget about who shes been with, and worry about you two. In order to make it work, you have to stay in the present. Ask yourself if you can do it, ask yourself if its worth it, and do it! (I know sounds easier said then done) Let me know how it goes. All the best.
