  1. My boyfriend loves it when i kind of like hold the back of his head and play with his hair.... maybe put your hand on his cheek/chin area...
  2. heh.... i have no idea what that is.... And interest-wise... he's not all that interested in sports, certainly not interested in theatre ... he likes the blue-collar comedy tour (surprise surprise, lol) but i think theyre done? I was thinking, maybe I'd get a gift certificate and also something else... like clothing since i hate his clothes and the things I buy for him, he seems to like.. Any suggestions on how much to spend total? I don't want to seem like a cheap-a*s
  3. Cabela's...I was sort of thinking that... is a gift card too tacky? I don't even know where to begin picking something out from there... I was just at their website.. He hunts deer, squirrels, umm...whatever, I guess... Fish: Salmon, Blue gill...
  4. I absolutely can't stand the "P" word when describing vagina and would always complain to my boyfriend when he'd use it...he now calls it The Kitty... sort of weird...sort of annoying...but I suppose it's a bit better. My boyfriend ALWAYS uses pet names with me: mostly baby, and love... the one i really DISLIKE is babydoll... it just makes me think of one of the creepy figurines his grandmother left in her house when she sold it to him.......
  5. Usually, I'm known for picking out wonderful, thoughtful gifts that the person on the recieving end just loves... but i don't know what to get my boyfriend! He's the comeplete opposite of me and my friends... Redneck, into hunting and fishing, doesn't really care about fashion (his clothes kinda suck), he's just really into the "country boy" thing... So anyone else who shares these interests or has a significant other like this, what do you get them for Christmas (or other appropriate holiday)!!!? And here's another question: How much is appropriate to spend? I always go above and beyond and don't know when to stop spending on people. We've been together 8 months. We're well past the I love you stage and completely comfortable around each other... Please help!!!!
  6. B, I suppose... Although it honestly makes no difference to me and I've dated men of pretty much every race, I find Arabic men EXTREMELY attractive .
  7. The thing is, I've always been very good with people. I know how to make customers happy. I just don't understand though--if it was that I wasn't doing things the way my boss wanted me to, why wouldn't she just say something? She never told me to do anything different... To be honest though, my boss was a mean, mean person. Not going to lie, I'm secretly pleased I don't have to deal with her. She treats all of her employees like dirt. That place has the highest turnover rate Ive ever seen.
  8. While it all sounds very bitter and goes on and on and is a bit exaggerated, I'm not going to lie... he has a point with a lot of those things. Especially the cheating wife/husband thing. There are so many instances I have witnessed that prove this. Same goes for the prenup... I'm also curious about the same things as rodeo-rider....
  9. So I just got fired from a coffee shop because I "Wasn't a good fit"... I don't understand what I did wrong. I asked them what I did and they said nothing, you're a good worker. I just don't get it! I showed up on time, I worked hard, I was really nice to customers... I was only there for TWO weeks...how could they even know if I was a "good fit" or not? I knew how to do WAY more stuff than the other girl who started the same time I did....
  10. lol thanks though that was taken when i was still just doing it myself.. hmm maybe i should just go back to doing it myself and save 150...
  11. I pay between $150-200 for a cut/color... but she does an AMAZING job... I get compliments on a daily basis from strangers. Aveda color is very good quality and it LASTS! Doesnt fade or dull like most
  12. Give yourself time apart... you said you went to that college for her, but where did YOU want to go? Perhaps you could transfer there and start over? It's not as easy to do as it sounds, but I don't know what to tell you... My ex and I were together for four years, same deal... promised we'd be best friends still... We truly did try... it just didn't work.. only now, several months later are we becoming friends again and it's wonderful. Not talking and being away from each other was exactly what we needed. We now have an excellent but platonic relationship. I'm in a great relationship with my boyfriend and my ex has been dating as well.... Since we've given it some time, it doesnt bother either of us to see each other with other people... give it time... good luck
  13. for me, i use the shaver i mentioned above... it really gets EVERYTHING... not trying to promote a product but holy crap it works amazingly... i was so surprised. I was never able to reach down there either. with this thing, you dont have to worry about cutting yourself either, which is nice.
  14. Crabtree and Evelyn makes a glycerine soap called Rosewater. It gets the oil off, but at the same time, doesn't dry your skin out. I've had bad acne problems since 5th or 6th grade and I've found that, while the Rx work somewhat, that glycerine soap is amazing. Another product that really helps is Aveda Rosemary Mint hand and body wash. The mint helps cool your skin. And Aveda's products have a lot of organic/natural stuff in them, which is nice
  15. i am so so sorry rodeo rider..i wish i knew what to say, but i don't... just.. i'm sorry --- So, I might have missed this, but have you or haven't you seen your gynecologist? If you haven't yet, DO it... like the other posters, she will have a much better idea of what might be going on. She can get the labs from the hospital and the records... Wow, though, that sounds so scary. You certainly handled it better than I would've
  16. I agree with AntiLove... going away to school, living in a dorm... neither of those things guarantee you'll have an amazing college experience. I didn't. I wound up coming home part-way through my second semester because I was depressed and miserable. College is what you make of it, I realized that... you're the only one who can do anything about it. I also agree with the finding an extra-curricular activity.. I don't know what you're majoring in, but could you find a club or organization that has people with similar interests? Sitting at home moping about things isn't going to make things better. You need to GO OUT and DO something. Having a good time doesn't mean you have to go and drink until you vomit. There are coffee houses and such. Does your school have any type of IM sports? Don't give up.. don't stay at home and feel sorry for yourself. DO SOMETHING about it. For me, it took changing schools.. I actually have LOTS of friends who I love dearly, a wonderful boyfriend... Just keep trying...have you considered transferring?
  17. This definitely trumps any of my disaster-online-dating stories.... wow.
  18. you're definitely not alone. I have bi-polar and the psychiatrist told me he thinks there's a good chance I have BPD also.. I have the exact same 'symptoms'...pretty much all of them. I don't know anything really about it, but I just wanted to say that you're not alone. It's scary and hard to deal with but with proper help, it's manageable.
  19. my boyfriend got me this shaver called the "Hair Erazor"...it's one of those "intimate shavers"... anyway, as long as the hair is short to begin with (you shaved the day before)... it works great... no razor burn/itch... just do it once every other day or so... it only takes a couple of minutes. i'm not sure where he got it... but on the shaver it says "link removed" so maybe there? I HATE shaving down there and this makes it a little more tolerable.
  20. what do you guys do to get motivated? I just can't seem to. Last year, I wound up dropping all of my classes but one and a lab. This year, I've already dropped one and am failing another.. Any tips?
  21. The thing with mono is there really aren't any physical symtoms (aside from the exhaustion), and it stays in your system for a long time (sometimes a month or two), meaning one could pass the virus even after they've pretty much fully recovered. It's highly contagious. I've had it twice Herpes, it's kind of the same concept. You can still contract them even when there are no signs of an outbreak, though it's much less common than when a person has physical symtoms. Just be careful
  22. Mine has no idea. It should stay that way since I post about our relationship problems pretty often. I don't think he wants a bunch of random people knowing about our sex-life or his grandmother.
  23. Apparently not for Ender1 and my boyfriend... and im not fat...he's just being a douche because he weighs less than me (he's 6'2, 140lbs!!!!!)
  24. link removed isn't bad... I met a few really cool people there. None of them worked out as relationships, but as friends yes. Easy site to use... They always advertise link removed and now they have that 6mos guarantee thing so they must be pretty confident it works? Im not sure though...
  25. Yes, definitely on the way back. It's my college orientation thing and I can't be upset for it. He made me so mad when I told him my period started: Jen says: sweet, i just started bleeding Ben says: Nice, from where? Jen says: where do you think Ben says: Oh, that sucks. Jen says: its not like it makes a difference for you. Ben says: Sure it does. Jen says: how Ben says: Because you still will be when you get here. Jen says: yeah i guess. Ben says: Then it makes a difference. Does he HONESTLY think he's going to get any?
