  1. hey, i'm girl, and i used to haev the same prob... only with guys, duh i say that you should approach them (if its a particular person) while they are with a group with at least one other person (of your same gender or not) that you know pretty well. Group conversationize for awhile and then you'll have more stuff to talk about if you ever feel like talkign to just her. But, uh, it wouldn't be very intelligent to try and do the one-on-one talking if you have nothign to talk about. Just a hint.
  2. Not me, my friend. She was kissing her first kiss, and it was during a truth or dare game, and the guy was like, stoned and he had gum in his mouth, and it wasn't supposed to be french but, well, lol. She choked on his gum and then took it out and stuck it in his hair. I think it took us about a month to stop laughing.
  3. God, I'm sorry but your "friend" is dang evil! I'd get away from that seductress as soon as possible, she's just messing with you, enjoyign the power she can hold over your head. One day she's going to backstab you, you just wait girl. (Oh and btw I'm straight but that don't mean I haven't... ya know... thought about it. Read about it, researched, tried to figure out where I'm coming from.) So, unless you like the friends-with-secret-benefits setup, then try and get away from her asap. Honestly.
  4. Babe, you've already said it. Talk to 'em! Just stop thinking about girls-as-girlfriends and start thinking of them as girls-as-friends. Turn your brain around, sort of. It's worked well for me ('cept change all the girls to boys) and I suspect it's 'the secret', but shhhh, don't tell anyone
  5. Thank God, because you have to know you've lived for a reason... the one thing I most firmly, absolutely believe in is that everything, absolutely every little thing that happens to you happens for a reason. Maybe you don't know what it is yet. No one can really know. Best wishes ~Anamarie
  6. Oh I love the ending so much! It just gave me the happy shivers
  7. eh, i just had to get some feelings out about the stupid guys in the world who don't seem to understand that we're, uh, programmed to be so weird about ourselves. it felt good writing it, glad you liked it
  8. Um, I call him... because otherwise I don't get to talk to him as much as I'd like.
  9. I am a GIRL I worship Tampax and Always. I giggle all the time. Whenever something funny happens, Whenever I see the boy I like, Or when I'm just happy. I am a GIRL. I'm perpetually depressed about inconsequential things, Especially once a month before my period. I try on outfit after outfit each morning. I listen to all kinds of music, NOT just Britney Spears. I am a GIRL. I'm self-conscious about my body. I'm obsessive about my hair. I'm positive that everything I wear makes me look fat. I am a GIRL. Don't tell me not to be what I am. By Anamarie
  10. Aaaah! I see! It does a world of good to smile, but don't just leave it at that (or she'll overanalyze it.. "omg, did it mean it anything? was he smiling at someone behind me? or does he like me?") But give yourself excuses to talk to her. ("So, that bio test killer, wasn't it?") Its tedious, but its so fun
  11. It isn't illegal, but if the guy is 18 or older and they have sex, then the parents/guardians can charge him with "statuary rape", which basically means that even though she might have willingly agreed to the sex, shes automatically the victim of the 'rape' and he can get convicted. But since the parents approve, then there isn't anyone to bring the charges against the guy even if they did have sex. And it isn't illegal, just frowned upon [-X
  12. Wow, why do you wanna know? (No, seriously, answer because it might help you get better answers) Obviously this sort of thing is different depending on the girl and the crush.
  13. I've talked to this guy online a couple times over the last couple days. He seems really nice and he lives very, very close. He proposed the idea of going to a movie this friday, and I'm a bit skeptical. I want to go, but you can imagine what's going through my mind... My plan is to bring a friend, but would that be a little weird? I don't know, this whole thing is just beyond me. The worst part is that he's 16 (17 in a couple months) and I'm 14 (15 in a little less than six months) I just need opinions... maybe some advice...
  14. i didn't mean the ARTICLES! I mean the other FORUMS. People have posted similar requests for kissing advice TONS of times.
  15. Honestly, I don't mean to be rude, but that was sort of dumb... has the girl ever kissed before? if SHE is good at it, then she might be able to tell you're inexperienced, but if she hasn't, you having kissed before might make her nervous. Just tell her the truth and say your sorry or whatever. For advice on kissing, search the other forums on this site, there are millions about kissing, french kissing, etc.
  16. Yeah they would but i don't change out of my bra because we don't need to. So i just jog in it... it really doesn't matter i guess i just don't notice it
  17. uuuuh... i dun have much kissing experience but i frenched a guy with braces once and it couldn't even feel em at all... so whatever
  18. What do you mean "handle" PE? You mean in the locker room? MollyElise I like your suggestion... "They are real, I just give em a nudge in the right direction" What I actually did was I looked down and said "Hm, they look pretty real to me." but it came off sort of forced... she was all, ok, whatever
  19. Its fine to me, I guess, but it'd be a little weird only if your school was really prejudiced... it's different in every school. It'd be more accurate if you asked a friend who goes to your school what they thought.
  20. Well, we dunno your bf, what would he like? If you are seriously stuck for ideas, make a cheesy IOU card (IOU one kiss at midnight, IOU a movie with popcorn and sodas included, IOU... well, you get it)
  21. Ok, I posted about a similar situation once before, here: link removed And the general consensus is that I should gradually decrease the bra size and get on with my life. But I haven't, because honestly, I think I look good with the waterbra when I'm looking in the mirror... but there aren't any mirrors at school when I'm walking around feeling self-conscience that my boobs look disproportional to the rest of me. (I fit into a 32b, even though it is a little tight, and the waterbra is a 34b, and its a little bit too big... and well, even when you are wearing a normal, non-push-up bra that is too big you know the effect.) So basically, looking in the mirror, I like the way I look, but I'm afraid of what other people will notice... But HERE IS THE REAL SITUATION Somehow me and my friend got onto the subject of boobs, and she goes, "At least mine are real!" (Jokingly, but not too jokingly, she's trying to find out what's up with the sudden increase in chest since last year) What should I have said? I'm not telling what i DID say, I jsut want to know your opinion.
  22. Clingy and codependent are COMPLETELY different things. Just to prove my point, I looked up both words in the online dictionary: codependency: a psychological condition or a relationship in which a person is controlled or manipulated by another who is affected with a pathological condition (as an addiction to alcohol or heroin) - co·de·pen·dent /-d&nt/ noun or adjective clingy: a : to have a strong emotional attachment or dependence b : to remain or linger as if resisting complete dissipation or dispersal I think that should be enough to answer your first question. As for the second question, I think you've got it phrased wrong. YOu should say, "When does 'attached' become 'clingy'?" Attached is when you go, "Oh, I love my Teddy Bear, I wanna take it everywhere!" but you leave it home during the appropriate times. Clingy is when you take your teddy bear to the mall with with your friends, on dates, and to work. Am I making any sense or did I totally msis the point?
  23. Yeah, Cid is totally right... smoke for 30 years, that'll do it!! Just kidding. Don't mess with your voice, I believe that all our quirks are given to us for a reason! For instance, I have an odd quirk that makes me think guys with glasses are sexy... so thereforeeee, in the future, my soulmate will wear glasses. Right?!?! And YOUR soulmate will find younger voices but mature minds sexy. Or you could be just a late bloomer... believe what you wanna believe.
  24. What your parents don't know can't hurt them, so don't let them find out! And keep it to a minimum until the three months mark... then you can do whatever, according to your parents. For kissing tips, browse the other forums on this site... there are millions on French Kissing and How To.
  25. Yeah, reading the Morrigan's post... I'm no psychologist, but he might have had something happen to him in childhood that altered his thinking processes towards women and men. I mean, logically, if you grew up with an gay or abuser (who abused your mom or other women) when you were very young, you'd think it was absolutely normal. Actually, you wouldn't even think about it, it just got lodged in your brain while your brain was still developing and you'd accept it as fact. So possibly something like this is the case? At any rate, you're still allowed to tell him that his touching makes you uncomfortable. Whether or not he'll respond is a different issue.
