  1. Ha ha, I just wrote an essay on the evolution of the female orgasm! So weird you would put up this post. I am studying so I will respond to it later.
  2. 99% or higher if I recall.
  3. I think Melrich has a valid point. Thinking will do nothing. Best thing you can do is find a way to get tested. Other people's opinions are just that and tell you absolutely nothing about the actual facts of whether you are or not. Wish you luck.
  4. whoops, just saw your last post. Sorry about that. Where is your school? Maybe during your lunch break (it sounds like you are in school still) you can go and get one.
  5. Yeah, just go to a drug store or Wal-mart or Zellers or a grocery store. Any place with a pharmacy and buy one.
  6. No lectures. Have you ever been late before? Or are you like clock work? Do you go every four weeks or so? What about May because it seems more like you could get pregnant in May. Although you can get pregnant at anytime depending. Stress and hormones definitely play a huge role. It could just be stress. I'll hope it's stress. Do you live with your mom? The best thing you can do is take a test. Depending where you live there are sometimes good clinics. But I think just get an at home test and see. Hopefully it's just a big scare! Wishing you well.
  7. I am lucky, my BF and I have equal conversations BUT I have had friends like this. And it's my experience that they just cannot change easily. I've brought it up or said I would like to talk and then it just goes back to them blah blah blah blah BLAH! Maybe you can suggest a "game" where you have a rubber ball or bean bag and whoever holds it gets to talk for two minutes or a minute and then she can learn to volley. Can you watch or movie or enjoy just being with each other quietly? Ever?
  8. I could use some ideas on this too. It seems as though everyone of my friends is drifting apart or at very different places in their lives. I don't know how to get out there and meet people for just friendship. I can be shy when I first meet people. For just friends I think it's even harder than finding a mate sometimes. Maybe do what ElektraHere suggests.
  9. Pro: You aren't as lonely. You have someone to count on for everything and someone to bestow all your love and affection on and receive love. Con: You are rarely alone! Sometimes relationships seem to loose their fun and zest. I miss the excitement of dating.
  10. I read your blog earlier today. It did not sound tormented. It sounds like you are using your fiance as a security blanket and what you really want is to have fun and be free the next while. I think you know what you have to do. And in reference to the blog- that woman (B) has every right to be angry. You are trying to take her man away from her and making it quite obvious. Derek doesn't sound like a catch for anyone. I think you need to loose the fiance, loose the jerk and just enjoy the dating freedom you crave. It's not fair to your fiance at all that you are holding on to him.
  11. I agree with all of the others. Sometimes guys need a little encouragement! If you've been on five dates and headed for another he must be into you. Make a small first move like suggested. Those are good ideas! How did he look as your moved towards him?
  12. You know, I think people vary tremendously in how they view "love". Some people are just, we are dating it's good "I love you" Others want something groundbreaking. A lot (NOT ALL) of the "love" 14 year olds feel is a puppy love or crushes or hormones pumping way too fast. (Yes I am being simplistic here) Is that real true love? Although I know of people who have been with people they've known forever. I had relationships, dating, etc, but I didn't really fall in love until I was 25!!! He had two really serious relationships before me and he said he thought he had loved them but after meeting me he realized he hadn't loved them at all. It's subjective I think. Some people feel in their gut, others with their mind. I wouldn't worry about it.
  13. I highly doubt it was flirting that you took the wrong way, you wouldn't fly to Canada for no reason. Maybe everything was as you said it was and he just didn't feel it in his gut. What were your expectations? Do you see yourself being with him?
  14. TalkTalk, have you looked into any retreats or learning to meditate? I know this might sound lame but relaxation tapes help me get the feeling of peacefullness... maybe you are at time when you are seeking something more in life. Maybe you are longing for something and haven't put your finger on it yet. When I have got those feelings of being unsettled or something not right, there is usually something going on. Change is good. I'm just rambling here- I don't know. Read some books. Maybe doing more with nature if that is your thing.
