  1. rodeo rider --- you are so right on !!! sometimes things need to be broken down in elementary ways for people to conceptualize things, sad but true !
  2. Generally speaking --- ignorant, stupid - self-centered jock mentalities bad manners... meaning those who are inconsiderate on any level immaturity And the numero uno ...... guys who can't see past visual appearances ! {in my experience, this is a good indicator of or measure of superficiality}
  3. i think you've missed the boat here, diggity... ONE flower is hardly akin to a present or gift - it's monetary value is less than $5 if even that and it'll die in two days or so... it's a thoughtful gesture, plain and simple !!! any "intelligent" girl/woman is going to know this and considering that, giving someone a flower is not going to be the sole indicator on whether or not the relationship will progress. geesh, it's a bleeping flower for pete's sake ! bringing flower(s) is not desperate or trying to hard - have you heard of thoughtfulness before ??? believe it or not, some men give flowers bc they are thoughtful & chivalrous. there is certainly not anything wrong w/that! as a relatively intelligent and attractive female - i can say wholeheartedly that i appreciate it , bc it tells me that the person was considerate and thoughtful enough to put in a little more effort than simply just showing up at my front door. personally i find nothing wrong about it at all!!!
  4. GREAT point paisely80 - that's exactly what i said ! so i countered his position and said does that mean that women who sleep around in an effort to fulfill their instinctive reproductive urges should not be reprimanded??? course, he glazed right over that one and continued on his speil... evidently, one track thinking must also be a genetic pre-wired gender specific trait as well !!@!
  5. Okay everyone, today I went to lunch w/two male friends (both highly educated professionals) - one of which believes that men should not be faulted for looking/gawking/oogling at other women in the presense of their significant others because (and sit tight for this one)... this behaviour as he contends, is simply a manifestation of man's predetermined genetic and sexual make-up...attributable to man's innate caveman gender predisposition if you .... Which in a nutshell translates into men are pre-wired to reproduce which requires them to involuntarily and subconsciously look/admire other women. Course, I know better then this... but what do you all think ??? I am the only one who finds this as a prime and yet sad exhibit of poor manners and lack of respect
  6. not necessarily ... i do it all the time, especially if i'm bored or staning in line somewhere for a significant amount of time, i'll start chatting w/just about anyone if they seem open to it.[/color]
  7. oh.... lucky number 7 !!! HA HA HA - LMAO ... that is the funniest thing i've heard this year. everyone knows it but actually hearing or should i say reading it is really funny !!!

  11. i assure you that i am no fool ! FYI- we all are ignorant to a certain degree relative to certain issues or topics even more so, we all guilty of making stupid mistakes !

  13. There you have it sweetheart (redqueen) - this is the problem (if you want to called it that of all the issues you've been faced with & will continue to navigate through (i know i live it) !!! for all you out there who haven't figured it out yet.... Most people are stupid & ignorance is bliss - it's both unfortunate and fortunate that some people out there just don't have enough sense to realize when they are being screwed over !!! redqueen shes2smart annie24 itsallgrand - you guy's rock ! there's nothing better than articulate, intelligent and confident women !
  14. i'm sorry esboogie, i've been there before & unfortunately the groundwork has already been established on a foundation where, as raykay stated earlier has been defined as a "quasi relationship." i've found there some people out there who are in unfullfilling relationships & ride the wave simply b/c they don't want anyone else to be w/their partners even despite the fact that they themselves are not committed to the relationship 100%. i know it's not comforting, but atleast you know straight out what he wants & he's not fooling or deceiving you.... i guess the decision lies in whether or not this situation is good enough for you to stay...
  15. i know i was digressing hmmm... heat rash and rough scalp of baby's head - got it ! keep the lil one's scalp hydrated by using a cream or ointment recommended for cradle cap and put a pretty bonnet on her head, when you bath her use a gentle shampoo and rich conditioner to help moisten her scalp and try to gently exfoliate any of the cradle cap if there is any.
  16. reminds me of the time i put baby oil in my malteses' hair to help brush out the knots .... and well uh - it didn't work. they had oily matted hair just like your lil one - i think i tried everything from baby powder to peanut butter (j/k) to soak it up , washing and washing some more, etc. etc eventually, i had to shave them both bald ! j/k but really, it went away after i don't know how many washes just use a gentle shampoo and the oil will break down and wash away w/time
  17. i prefer guys who are atleast 5'10 but that is my preference - i'm prett y squatty myself 5'3, so if i feel like a can take a guy down then it prolly won't work ! LOL
  18. If i where you id focus on the gf , and not on other woman anymore. Show some loyalty will you? good form robowarrior !!!
  19. i know you're being serious here cutebandrat but what i want to know is how the h$!! you got away w/postings asses' w/out it being bleeped out?! oh yes... and i especially like the "privately givin them the finger and wishing them future regret" oh man - too funny !!! LMAO
  20. has a professional diagnosed you ??? meaning from the DSM (Diagnostic & Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) sounds to me like you fit the criterion of OCD ... given that and your other disorders you need appropriate cognitive/behavorial therapy and the right combo of meds. if you haven't been properly diagnosed by a competent psychiatrist you need to make it a point to go -
  21. if you're really serious about losing weight you need to be very strict and follow a structured diet. meaning... you need to eat small portions every 3 hours and calorie count - balance between carbs and protein... more protein than carbs if you want to lose the weight faster. exercise too by doing some sort of cardio to get your heart rate high to burn the calories - don't bother weight training because you need to lean down before you tone and define. remember your appearance is a result of 70-80% of what you put in your mouth. use control and also keep in mind that the body stores the rest as fat when you overeat. meaning it takes what it needs and stores the rest as stored energy aka fat. do this and you'll drop atleast 10 lbs in two months if not more - guaranteed!
  22. good grief... i was seriously on my way to hating this girl ! shame on you !!! but really congrats
