  1. i think kissing is just as intimate as sex. if you loved someone, you wouldnt in any way want to hurt them intentionally. going out and making out with people or talking dirty online i assure you will hurt your fiancees feelings.
  2. i can recall a time i accidentally did say the "your mom" thing with on eof my siblings. i really do think youre overanalyzing it. i think you just need to not worry, as hard as it sounds. if you are going to look into to see if it is the sister, and find out it isnt, whats going to happen? if you let him know, then hell know youve been invading his privacy, even though he lied. i dont know, sounds like a dilemma really. if i were you id be probably be just as worried as you. and if i was asking for the advice you are asking for and somoene gave me the asnwer im giving you i probably wouldnt take it because id be too paranoid. but i am thinking logically and you are thinking emotionally. i honestly do think you need to stop stressing about this. good luck
  3. np. if you feel it is really important then id do it. i dont know the girl or the guy so i dont know how theyd react to you doing this, thats why i cant give you a sure answer. i do know that what he is doing is absolutely disgusting. just tell her casually and dont seem all freaked out about it and leave it at that. take care and let us know how things go! good luck
  4. that sounds like a good idea. another thing perhaps that might help: let your gf know some info about your parents and how they act so things arent a shock! take care.
  5. i really do think youre just being a little too worried. i hope he knows youre not doing this or else he may be freaked out if it really is his sister. you dont want to scare him off. i have been dating a guy for 2 years, and we broke up about 2 months ago. weve now been back together for a month. stress was the main reason we broke up. the reason he was so stressed out becaused i was doing what you were doing (not trusting what he said, going on his email trying to find things out even though there was nothing to find, going through his cell) i think you shoudl leave it alone until something happens again, and then maybe act upon it. i really do think its nothing to worry about, honestly.
  6. ooh sounds painful. ive had 2 wisdom teeth removed. all in all ive had 13 teeth removed in my life. all because of my adult teeth woudl be coming in but my baby teeth wouldnt budge. it was quite the painful experience
  7. well, its your judgement of whether you think that is something that she absolutely needs to know. im kind of thinking you should. but let her know casually, dont act like you care all that much about it but just let her know that you thought she might need to know. dont try to meddle and get involved, just let her know what he told you and leave it at that.
  8. hehe thats odd i was reading archie tonight! haha, anyhow, i dotn see anything wrong with it, as long as both of you know that although things may work out later on, they also may not. and both of you know that and are okay with that i dont se eanything wrong with it.
  9. yes, if you have those concerns then perhaps its better not to meddle in this situation. if you feel its very important for her to know then maybe its best to tell her though. i do think what hes doing is very wrong.
  10. i think its sketchy about him saying "your mom" and why the sister would call at 2 am. i dont think either is anything to worry about, it just seems odd, but maybe its just me and because i dont know him. if you dont think its sketchy at all or anything a little odd about it then why are you paranoid about the situation? also, if you dont think its sketchy then why did you post the thread if there is nothing at all odd about it. i dont know, doesnt make sense.
  11. oh my. looks like hes spreading rumors? thats not good! hmm..i think you should let her know. when you asked her about it wasnt she at all angry that he told you that they were doing something that they werent and he was obvoiusly lying.
  12. so true. often you let someone know advice, and then they dont take it. and then complain its not working. so true friscodj. i really do thank everyone here who has came out and supported and helped me, and all the others here. it really is a great site and another great thing is that although some peoples views may be different, you rarely see anyone cut other people down or "attack others" it really is a friendly environment.
  13. i think so. as long as you feel shed be comfortable with it and didnt think things were going too fast. i definetly think you should invite her though.
  14. what exactly is he doing thats horrible? if its something serious then i think you should tell her, but if its trivial id back off. she may not believe what you have to say and it might make you look bad. i think you need to be there for her. as for the liking her part, you need to hold off on that seeing as how she is dating someone. is the reason you want them to break up because of your crush on her..or is it because he is acutally doing bad things?
  15. the whole situation seems sketchy. i think if this is the only situation there theres no use in worrying. if anything else comes up you should maybe be skeptical. i do think that the "mom" thing isnt a big deal.
  16. i remmeber playing soccer games when i was younger and i hated it when people watched me. i just got embarrassed, and my dad would start yelling encouraging words, and even yell it out at the other team members, and while he was trying to be kind id get so embarrassed and everyone would be liek why is he yelling. maybe shes just embarrassed, not of you, but maybe the attention she gets from others. and as i said before, a child in kindergarten sometimes acts that way just because of their age.
  17. well, i never discussed it in law, but my sister who is 20 tried to go to lake city casino or some place where i live and they said she was a minor. but that might be because my mom is against gambling and our neighbour saw her and her bf there and my mom confronted my sister and she said they wouldnt let her in because she is a minor. maybe it was bs. i feel bad for hijacking this thread *embarrassed* sorry orignial poster. just leave the guy things will get better
  18. i agree with jjradical. things do get better! are you keeping busy and going out with friends? as hard as it is, try not to think about it. i promise itll go away eventually.
  19. i agree with the above posters. im still very young, but children do do this stuff. i remember doing it to my dad. not about a show, but other things like that. before my father passed away we got along great. i was probably liek that to him for about 2 or 3 years when i was around 8 or 9. i think that this pattern will change and shes just growing up. i wouldnt take anything pesonally! good luck
  20. i agree annie. lets say they were relatively the same age, that would already be a huge problem enough! she definetly needs to find a guy more closer to her age who isnt sucha liar and a cheater. shes worth so much more than that.
  21. haha i think i reworded it wrong. of course anyone who doesnt want to have sex and they are forced it is rape, even if you are 60. i misplaced my words. i meant that if youre 14 and having sex with a 16 year old, youre not going to have any legal troubles. it didnt happen to me, it happened to my sister who is now 20. but when she was 16 a creeper that she met while she was working at A&W who was i believe 34 at the time seduced her. at that young of an age i think these creepers take advantage of people. he made her feel like hed always protect her (me and my sister are both adopted so we have issues with abandoment) and he made her feel loved and she thought she was in love with him. my parents found out and the guy is now in jail for 7 years minimum. apparently hes had "relationships" with other minors before, and in fact has a wife and 3 children. im sure thats not the case with this lady here, it just bothers me. i know it didnt happen directly to me, but i am really close with my sister. anyhow, im hijacking the thread so ill stop it. maybe i was wrong on some of the stuff. ill check to see how old my law book is anyhow. but thats interesting information. yes, as in the drinking age. 19. its a good thing for me though, i suppose its odd that in canada you can drink at 19, but have to wait til youre 21 til you can gamble!
  22. well im in law and im taking law at uni next year becaues id like to be a lawyer, you dotn need consent if youre 14 and the guy is 16. if its a boyfriend-girlfriend relationship, thast not what the law is out there for. but if someone is under the age of 18 and its a wide-age difference..as in 14 years, then it is illegal. maybe not a pedophile, but thats how i perceive it. even if it isnt illegal, which at least in the law book we study from it is, but even if not, i do think its morally wrong. nope. its statuoratory rape if the person is over 18. that doesnt mean theyd get in trouble, as long as it was a relationship. do you acutally think that a 40 year old would be allowed to have sex with a 15 year old if she said yes, then it wouldnt be illegal?! the law is based on circumstances of specific situations; however, that age gap difference is too large. too many teenagers and children get seduced by older men into believing that theyre in love. i guess im just touchy on this because ive had an encounter with this, and i do know it is ILLEGAL because i put a man behind bars. sorry if ive came off as cynical but its a touchy subject i suppose its my fault for writing it here just nevermind me
  23. well, TECHNICALLY he is a pedophile. at least in canada. oh well. mysterious_girl good luck and stay away from him and his gf and the child and stuff! theyre all bad news go out and find a nice guy your own age theres ton of them. one that doesnt have a gf good luck i wish you well
  24. i dont see how you could be in love with a pedophile, however im not one to judge. i dont understand it but i wouldnt complain or interrogate you for it. i think people make their own decisions. im sure no one here would judge you or anything for it. just stay here
