  1. Yeah, it's obvious that she's playing some sort of game... and unfortunately, I deem it to be a manipulative one at that. Just like byates posted... be glad she's out of your life, be strong and don't look back... people like that don't deserve the recognition.
  2. Go for it!!! It's a simple as that... you're running out of time and you still haven't talked to her... well... TALK TO HER! Find out what's going on, and if there's a mutual attraction, or at least get her phone number so you guys can get together during summer vacation and stay in touch.
  3. I'm gonna have to 'ditto' what dako said since that question was pretty vague.
  4. I think that you should wait until your legs are not sore anymore to work them again. BUT, in the meatime, I suggest that you're doing crunches or pushups. Alternate. Trust me, they do become easier, and your legs and other muscles will not hurt the more you get into your routine.
  5. Agreed! I'm father of a little girl two, and what matters is what their intellectual characters are like.
  6. Way to go Spawn!! It's nice to hear that you're moving on, and that you realize that youre better off without her.
  7. Yeah, that's probably going to be the biggest thing. Be a gentlemen and definetly be respectful in front of her parents. It's not a big age gap, and I certainly think it's acceptable, but you never know what the opinions of her parents could be.
  8. You probably haven't heard from her, because she may be just as flabergasted as you. Up to this point you've been great friends for years (I assume) and now there's something more in the mix... perhaps something that has or has not dawned on her until you stated how you felt. She may be feeling torn between this new guy and you know, and maybe a bit confused. Give it some time.
  9. Hi Blondy! It's okay and normal that youre feeling this way. Keep your head up, and realize that there's so much more than him... youre probably a real sweetheart, and I'm sure that there is several guys waiting for you that you haven't even noticed because you've been caught up in thought over the recent break up.
  10. If he's pretty open with you about everything, then I think that it's safe to say that he's just more of the manipulative type. Look at it like this... he probably is thinking of you, just not in the way you'd like. Manipulative people would tend to think more along the lines of 'well, I just won't call so she'll come crawling back, and I'll have that much more of a hold on her' DO NOT fall into that trap... please hun, take it from someone who knows.
  11. I'm quite fond of short hair myself... but thats just me...
  12. Becky... I don't think that you blew it at all... in fact, I'm starting to believe that your boyfriend is hiding something... I know that in most cases that if the man has something to hide then he will blow something out of proportion to cover it up and try to justify it... even if it doesn't make sense. My advice... please do not be manipulated by this man anymore, and I would definetly suggest NC until you know exactly what's going on. You seem to be dedicated... but unfortunately to someone who doesn't deserve it.
  13. Don't stress out too bad my friend, however, I think that you should try to see past your insecurities for your lady friend... unless of course she's done something to show you that shes not to be trusted, but I don't believe that's the case, judging by your post. If she says that she's only been with one guy, then believe her... I know in todays society it seems as if all of the gorgeous girls have slept around, but such is not the case. Everyone is different, and just because she is beautiful does not mean that she's lying to you about her past love life. So relax and enjoy the time spent with your beauty... it's all uphill from here as long as you keep your insecurities at bay.
  14. Honestly, the only thing that I can think of is that she seems a tad bit jealous my friend. Do yourself a favor and change the password on your account or cancel the one you have now. If she broke it with you she has no business in your personal matters anymore and for her to want to intrude on that now that she broke it off with you is just plain disrespectful. If you're still in love with her, I encourage you to keep your guard up and be strong with the short and sweet approach... or you could go NC for awhile to see how that works for you as well. Personally I would go NC if I knew for a fact that she was trying to get into my email account, but only if I knew for a fact. Be strong like I said but do not attempt to woo her back as of yet, in fact I think that you should let her come back to you and try to not push the issue of her feelings. Easier said than done, I know... trust me.
  15. I definetly agree with the above poster. Go no contact, because it seems in these situations the more you call your significant other, the more it pushes them away. And like the above, it's no gaurantee, but at least you still have a chance... and if you really do have a problem cleaning up after yourself, work on it... trust me, I've constantly left my stuff for my wife to clean up, and now it's one of her biggest pet peeves so I'm working on that one myself. Best of luck.
