  1. ya i guess i shall try my best, anyways, i called her 2 times tonight, she didnt answer, i think she was sleeping, we shall see what happens tomorrow, happy valentines day to all
  2. I agree, in her voice message however, she said she wanted to "catch up", so I assume she will be asking many questions, so how do i answer them? Do i dodge them? Give her one word answers? She will surely take this as a negative sign, and probably give up, im guessing. She already put herself out there with the drunk call. I'm just confused, and i still havent heard from her since saturday. I'm thinking maybe she is mad that i blew off her 2 calls. who knows
  3. More advice please, i need new opinions
  4. Well, hmm, i just sent her a text saying i was away from my phone for the weekend, waiting on a response
  5. what to do now, i do want to talk to her, but i think she gave up trying to reach me for the time being, hmm, maybe i should text message her, any advice?
  6. Well, I've been very strict with my No Contact, and in the past 2 months, the only time I have ever responded to her in any way was when she called two nights ago, simply because she tricked me with a blocked ID. So, in the past 2 months, she has initiated contact 5 times, and only once did I respond. I'm not getting out of hand here, i'm remaining calm and collected, and making her work right now. Hopefully, she will still try contacting me, because I was planning on finally talking to her about whatever it is she wants to talk about. But i have also decided that i will not initiate contact with her anymore, so she must call me.
  7. Well, she called twice today, I didn't answer either time, and that was so hard, because I would love to talk to her. I just feel like I need more time for all this to sink in. It's just such a shock that she is even calling me right now. The last thing i'm going to do is mess it up due to being overeager. If she calls again, i will answer and remain neutral in my tone of voice and words. More advice is always wanted, thanks
  8. Mor advice please before she calls again
  9. I need advice here people, please help, before i make a mistake, lol
  10. Well, this morning she calls me, I didn't answer, so she left a voice message. She says she was very drunk the night before and she wasn't sure what she said. She said she wanted to talk to me still about the money she owes me, and also wants to catch up. Six hours later she calls again, I didn't answer. Thats 3 calls now in less then 12 hours, I'm starting to see a shift in power here. The last 5 attempts at contact have been made by her. So, what should I do, I'm sure she will continue to call me until I answer? And if I do accept her call, how do I handle her questions?
  11. To make a long story short, my ex broke up with me after 1 year together, she then began dating someone new, I moved on after I found out. We have been broken up for 4 months now, 2 months of No Contact. Then one day, out of the blue, she calls me. I answered only because she called from a blocked number. The call was short, less then 10 minutes, but here is a condensed version of what she said: How are you doing? I tried calling you the other day, but you didn't answer Are you busy? I can let you go I have some money to pay back to you How do you want me to give you your money? I'm in bed, so I can't write down your new address Its not important anyways, i wanna talk to you Its been like a year since I saw you, it feels like a year at least I dont feel good, I have a headache and wanna throw up I was crying I can let you go back to what you were doing She then got quiet, I think because I was only giving her one word answers and responses. After a few minutes all I heard was breathing, and she wasn't talking, so I hung up. Her voice was very soft and sensitive, a tone I don't think I ever recall hearing. The call was very weird, and I know she wanted to talk to me badly. I was just shocked and had nothing to say really. All I know is that NC works, and it is worth it. Right now, I dont know what to make of this call. I would appreciate anyone's opinions as to what they think it means. Thanks
  12. Whoever said once a girl is in a new relationship, she will never go back to the old one is DEAD WRONG. Women are very emotional, thereforeeee they act on impulse often. I have seen women come back to old relationships many many times, it happened to me, it happened to my friends, it happens all the time. People date others and go back to old flames every single day, but it is not a reason to hold onto hope.
  13. i know... the only thing is, she was the last to contact me, and i feel like i ignored her and now she is mad, so even if she had something to tell me, i think right now she would be too proud to contact me, given the fact that i rejected her last attempt to talk.
  14. I haven't been here recently, I was doing well forgetting my ex, even over the holidays, no contact was maintained. It has been 3 months since she left me, and 6 weeks since last contact. The last time there was contact, she initiated it, she called me and left a message, asking me to call her back, but I never did. I get the feeling she is mad at me for not returning her call, im very surprised she didn't wish me a merry christmas or happy new year. Anyways, I thought once the holidays were over, I'd be set, but i was wrong. I actually think this no contact thing is harder now then it was 6 weeks ago. I guess i have a hard time accepting that maybe she isn't thinking of me anymore, she does have a new boyfriend, so it's understandable. I know she still cares, and of course i do too, but since she has a new man, it's made this whole thing much harder to deal with. I'm a huge supporter of NC, i just wish it worked as well for me as it does for most others. I honestly feel im getting worse as time goes on now. I worry about her, i miss her, i dream of her, its horrible. The hardest thing for me to accept is the fact that i messed things up by not expressing my feelings to her when we were together. Now im dying to tell her how i feel, its really very depressing. I'm thinking maybe i should reach out to her, let her know i still care, keep the lines open for communication. After all, im the one who turned down her last contact attempt. Maybe its my turn to reach out and touch base, and try to re-establish a friendship. I was thinking of dropping off some yellow flowers at her work, but not leaving a card or anything. Basically, let her wonder who sent them. the yellow roses mean friendship and reconciliation. I'm sure she will figure out it was me, but i want her to see im not taking credit for it by leaving a card, i want her to realize that its to brighten her day, not to make her think of me. Just a selfless gesture to let her know somebody cares out there. What do you guys think?
  15. Hey mun, i was that guy, i wanted the dating and fun without strings, after 1 year she dumped me and moved onto someone else right away. Now i realize that i had strong feelings for her, but it is too late. I would give anything for another shot with her, i messed up big time. The only thing i can do is hope that this new relationship fizzles out, but in the meantime, im going to move on
  16. Hey Lion-Guy, I guess you liked my post enough to refer it to someone else, huh? I'm glad you read it, everything in it is true. Stay strong and we can all get over our exes, time heals all wounds.
  17. The same thing happened to me, except I'm a guy. My ex dumped me and went right to a new guy, it does hurt, i understand that. All I know is that the best thing to do is move on. I'm convinced that anytime someone moves that quickly into something new, it can't possibly last. It is surely a rebound, and its a distraction from thinking of the person they dumped. Eventually, the dumper will be forced to confront the feelings they are denying. Don't be surprised if this new relationship fizzles out quickly, but still don't hold out hope. Move on so if he does come back, you will have control over yourself.
  18. i totally agree, once the ex knows you dont care anymore, everything changes. Their how outlook on you and the relationship takes on a new life. Whether it makes them decide to come back to you or not, they will be thinking long and hard as to why you stopped chasing, and they will always wonder what you are up to. Don't give the ex the satisfaction of knowing what or who you are doing, let them suffer for once
  19. Let her call, all the way, trust me, you dont want to sound too anxious. let her make the moves, the ball is in her court, and it should be. if she wants you back, you will know, she will make you know. Relax and keep your mind off of it, you have come a long way with this girl, don't mess it up now, goodluck
  20. The ex knows how to get in touch with you, don't worry, thats the least of your problems, trust me. Unless you changed your number, your e-mail address, and moved to another town, your ex can track you down. I had an ex who came back to me over a year after our breakup, i had changed my number and my e-mail address, so she would hunt my car down and leave me notes under my windshield wipers. If there is a will, there is a way, they know how to reach you.
  21. im telling you now, even if you desire a second chance in the future, like most of us do, you have to forget it, and don't think about it, as hard as it is to do that. You must live your life like the ex does not exist. Then one day you might hear from them, and the best thing is realizing that you dont care anymore. The only way to get to that point is NC, i can't stress it enough. It works for 99% of cases, whether you want to get back together, or not, it is the only way to stay sane
  22. Being dumped is not easy, not easy at all, lots of questions go unanswered, feelings are left to hang out and dry. Most of the time, those who were dumped react emotionally, and do silly things like beg, plead, cry, show up at the exe's house, send gifts, text message, call, write e-mails, instant message, basically doing everything they shouldnt be doing. Let's face it, it's not easy, but the sooner we realize it's over, the better we will feel. Holding on to bits and pieces of hope is torture, we must not beg for scraps, must not agree to be friends with someone who hurt us. The best thing to do is go No contact until we are truly healed. We must take care of ourselves, better ourselves, and become everything the ex said we wouldnt, but we should do it for ourselves, and not for them. We must take this time apart to reflect and do everything we need to do to become better people. We must not answer the phone when the ex calls, we must move on. At some point down the road, we will heal, and someday we might want to finally be friends with that ex, or we may forget them totally. In some cases the ex comes back for a second try, but that will never happen if you dont establish NC and stick to it. So whether you are hoping to get back together, or hoping to heal, or both, you must do NC, its the only way. We must move on, its very simple, yet very hard, goodluck people!!!
  23. OCD, is your ex seeing anyone right now?
  24. Moondog, i totally agree, you have to make yourself better for yourself. Lets say you get all down and depressed after getting dumped, the best medicine is changing yourself for the better. You now become a better person and u can always say to yourself that it wasnt you that got dumped, it was the "old me". this really helps the ego heal
  25. i appreciate everyone's feedback though, thank you very much
