    Hope & Praying, Thanks for the advice. I broke up with him because we were arguing all the time and spent way to much time together. We needed a break. He also needed to be put on medicine for anxiety but would never do it and it caused a lot of problems because he wasn't himself. He is now on medicine and i have been through counseling to try to work through problems i had. I think we both have chcnged and grew. I don't want to be the other woman and won't. I guess i just don't understand what his motives are for getting back in touch.

    I just wanted to say that this board has helped me out so much. My ex and I broke up in February. So it has been about 5 months since the split. Three days after we split he was already dating someone else. This made it extremley hard for me. We got back together twice for 2 days at the most and he would always break up with her spend two days with me and then go back to her. Finally i couldn't take it cut all contact which was so hard and changed my phone number just recently. Yesterday he called me at work because he had tried my cell phone and it had been cut off and he wanted to know why. We ended up talking for an hour and he came over to my house last night and one thing led to another and we slept together. He is still with this other woman but says he is so unhappy and i honestly think he is finally realizing what he had in me. Just comments he made last night make me think that he is still in love with me. We were together for 2 years. He says that i am his best friend and nobody understands him like i do. Someone told him that i was engaged and i think that freaked him out. I am no where neard engaged and not even dating anyone. He told me that hurt him a lot. I don't know what to do. I had given up all hope of us ever getting back together but if this is my chance i don't want to mess it up. What do i do

    Actually I am the one that handles his account. I am very good about keeping personal and business separate. I just don't know how he would react. I don't want to get rejected becasue I will still have to see him. I want him to know that I am interested but don't want to risk anything. Any more advice

    psipr, Thanks for the reply...any other suggestions Any suggestion on how to find out if he has a girlfirend!!! So you think it would be to my advantage to ask him out in person?? Also what do you think about asking out a client. I don't want any friction between us and I don't want it to be odd. I am also afraid about rejection. Any other advice

    I am 26 and have been broken up from my ex for about 4 months ans now think it is time for me to start dating again. I work in an accounting firm and one of my clients is just my type. He is 37 and I know that he is not married but I don't know if he has a girlfriend or not. I don't think he does but I am not sure. Whenever he is the office we flirt like crazy. I work in a family owned business and my mom is always saying he would be such a nice for me. How should I go about letting him know that I am interesed in him that way. I thought about email but don't have his email address. I thought about sending a note in the mail asking him if he would like to get together for dinner. HELP what should I do Michelle

    gemmy, I know that I need to keep with the No Contact and I will. I am just afraid that I won't be strong enough when he comes running back again. I am sure it will happen because I don't think that their relationship will last but it is so hard. Any Advice

    I need some insight on rebound relationships. I have never been in one becasue after a break up I like to take time to myself and heal and work through it. It is tough as hell though. I was with my ex for two years and have been broke up for 4 months. One week after we broke up he was with someone else. Now this has to be a rebound. It made me feel as if our relationship meant nothing. In the four months he has broken up with her twice and came back just as friends but then went back to her. He is currently with her and I am currently doing No Contact to move on. He called me two days ago...in which I haven't heard from him since last time he decided he wanted to come back. After that I just didn't want to deal with it anymore and statred No Contact. It has been about 21 days and he calls to see if i mailed something to him. I didn't answer...I didn't wnat to go back to square one and haven't called him back yet. Should I call him back or just ignore it. Also will this rebound last. I so bad want to move on but I truly do still love him and want to work things out.

    Does anyone have any success stories of no contact working for them as in getting back together. It is nice to hear some of these. I know that No Contact is helping me move on. Do you thinkit is true that they can sense that you have moved on and that is when they try to come back. Funny thing is I wouldn't take him back now. Just want to know if there are any stories.

    Fantasia I really don't know why they find somebody so fast. Me and my ex were together and broke up on my B-day. Three days after that he was with someone else. He wasn't just dating this girl they were practially living together in three days. Talk about fast. He has came back twice but ends up going back to her. I asked him how he could get into a relationship so fast and he said he knew that he would come back to me if he didn't. I know that if he wasn't with this new girl we would be together. I feel like it is something that he is going to have to figure out for himself. I think also it is the easiest way for them to move on. I don't believe that they forget about us and like everyone says they come back when you have moved on and are over them.

    We have been broken up for three months. 3 days after we broke up he was with someone else. All of his stuff is still at my house. I have asked him a triilion times to come and get it and he never does. It is a computer, clothes and a bunch of other stuff??? I got my stuff from his house 1 month after we broke up!!! He has came back twice but each time went back to the new girl. I want him to get his stuff but was wondering if anybody had a clue why he dosen't get his stuff.

    lisaria, I am sort of the same situatuin as you. We were together two years and been broken up for three months. Three days after we broke up he was with someone else. I don't mean just dating they were practically living togehter after three days. He swears there was nothing going on before we broke up but it is to hard for me to believe. Plus his friends told me they had something going on. I want him back bu tdon't know if i could trust him. He has came back to me twice confused as to what he wants. He always comes back when they are arguing. I know that he still loves me but i don't really know who he is anymore or what he is doing. I am sticking with no contact right now because i am tired of getting hurt. I really don't think that it will work out with the other woman. They are alrady fighting in the first three months and have broken up twice. I say that we just be patient and see what happens but don't stop living your life. i have had to change my whole life because of this but i do know that i can go on without him if we never get back togehter.

    It had been three months since we broke up. We were toghether two years and I thought I had found the one. We talked about marraige and a family and everything.. This man was not only my lover but my best friend in the world. We started arguing and just couldn't get out of the rut so we broke up. Three days after we broke up he had jumped into a relationship with someone else. They were spending everyday together. I didn't understand how he could do this. I couldn't eat, sleep or barely even go to work. He came back to me twice everythime he did things were not going well with the other woman but he would always go back to her. I think i finally just snapped out of wanting him back and saw how he really treated me and nobody deserves that. I would of done anything for this man and he does this to me. Well it took me three months but i can say i don;t want him back.....I could never trust him again and I feel so much better than I have in three months. It takes some time but believe me when you wake up one day and say I am not going to put myself through this it is the first step to healing. Anyone else have any stories of when the decided it was time to move on.

    Pepsimax, If he calls i would not answer. You sound that you are on the road to moving on and believe me hearing from them puts you back at square one. I have been broken up with my ex for three months and if i would of stuck to No Contact I would feel so much better now. He jumped into a relationship with a girl three days after we broke up. He has came back to me twice but ends up leaving and going back to her. I feel like i have had to go through 3 break ups all over again. Don't give them the time of day. They know they have the power to say anything and get your hopes up it dosen't help us any but prolong moving on. See if you can go a month without talking to him at all. This will either allow you to move on or maybe make him reliaze what he is missing.. BE STRONG

    Razer, Well he is back with her. I am back to No Contact...not to get him back but to get over him. No one deserves to be put through what he has put me through. Jumping back and forth between me and another woamn just isn't oaky with me. We were together for two years you would think he would want to work it out. We are both 26 and were talking about marraige and everything. I guess everything happens for a reason and maybe we were not meant for each other. Razer how is your relatinship going.

    We were together for two years have been broken up for 3 months. Broke up due to arguing. Three days after we broke up he started dating a girl that had been interested in him before we brok up. She worked at a bank that he has to go into everyday fro his work. He would always tell me these ladies flirted with him but he never date anyone that he worked with. They have been together 3 months and he has broken up with her twice and came back to me and then ended up going back to her. He told me he got in this relatinship to get over me. Do you think that this is a rebound and will it work.

    okay so i thought that maybe we were back on track and going to try to work things out as to getting back togehther. The thing is i haven't heard from him in 4 days and he won't answer my calls. He had said that he wanted some time to experience being single. I can only think the worst and believe that he has gone back to other woman this is what he did last time. The odd thing is the entire time we have been broken up he always answerd my phone calls. Why do you think he won't answer.

    No Contact worked.....he finally called 30 days after i started No Contact. We have been broke up for 3 months and were together for 2 years. Three days after we broke up he started seeing someone else and has been with her ever since. He called me 5 days ago to talk because he had broken up with the other girl. He said he realized what he had lost and that he missed me and thought about me all the time. I have seen him once and we talked and he said that he wanted time to himself to figure things out. We never talked about getting back together. He told me that he never wanted to see or talk to the other woaman again. The only problem is that he has to see her everyday because of his job. He came back for a brief 4 days a month after we broke up. He broke up with her and then went right back to her. I spoke to him yesterday and ask if he had seen the other woman he said Yes and that he talked to her and he said the talk was good. What does this mean. I haven't talked to him since and he won't answer my calls. Where do i go from here...

    Razer, Please help.....We have been broke up for 3 months...he started dating someone 3 days after we broke up. 1 month ago he broke up with her and came back for a week and then decided he still had feelings for her and went back to her. 2 days ago he calls me up and said they had broke up he realized that he had made a mistake by not getting back together with me, he missed me and all of that. I was at his house when she came to pick her stuff up and he said he never wanted to see her again or speak to her. I was thinking good now we can start to work on our relationship. I spoke to him everyday until Tuesday when he had to go back to work and see her....i never heard from him Tuesday or yesterday. I just have this feeling he saw her and that is why he is not calling.. He also made the comment that he wanted time to himself and figure out things last time he told me this he ran right back to her. Any help would be appreciated.

    My ex was with someone three days after we broke up. We were together for two years. It has been two months since we broke up. We stayed in contact but I can finally say I have gone 22 days wihtout contacting him. I was wondering if he is a rebound relationship. It seems if they are really moving fast. They are together all the time. Also she was the first girl that showed him any interest after we btoke up. Do rebounds ever last long term. I also don't understand how people can jump from one to another. If anyone has any experiences....please share.

    My ex has now been seeing a girl for 2 months....the amount of time we have been broken up. We were together for two years and 3 days after we broke up he was with this new girl. Is this a rebound and do these usually last.

    Evil_Bunny I am 26 and he is 26. I know that he wants a family. We talked about it all the time. I just can't understand why throw 2 years down the drain with someone that you caould have all this with. We just needed time apart but to jump into a relationship 3 days after we broke up just blows my mind. This woman is 32 and just got separated from her husband.

    We were together for two years broke up two months ago. I broke with him on my B-day because he acted he didn't care. We had beenarguing for a while but what couples don't. 3 days after we broke up he was with someone else already.....can't believe this. He has told me that he was tired of the arguing and when i broke up with him he was glad..... i think he did what he did to make me brake up with him. Well i thougth this is good we need time apart from each to cool down and figure out what was going on. we spent everday together for 2 years...didn't hang out with friends or anything...we needed a brake. I just didn't expect him to jump into a relationship with someone in 3 days. This woman had just started the seperation process from her husband and has a 3 year old son. About a week ago the ex calls and wants to talk. He comes over and says that the new woman is getting on his nerves......sexually she dosen't satisfy him and how much everyone says that i am so much better for him. We spend the next 4 days together he brakes up with her and i think okay we are going to work this out. Wrong he sees her at work calls me up says he still has feeling for her and he needs to figure this out. I find out that he is back with her. What should I do. This has to be a rebound. I love this man so much but just can't take the emtional roller coaster anymore. What should I do. I know that he still has feelings for me but I think he just shuts his emotions down. Is this a rebound relationship. I was at his house and read some of the cards she had sent him they were talking about what their children would look like...they have only been together 2 months just dating...moving kind of fast. Please help....any advice would be appreciated.

    GBGAL34 thanks for the advice. Do you think that i should tell him not to contact me until he decides what he wants. Actually i just thought about having no contact with him whatsoever and that will make him figure out what he wants. I don't want him to thnik that i am just going to sit around an wait for him. He statred dating this girl 3 days after we broke up and that devasted me. To me it has to be a rebound. I hope that he honestly takes this time to himself and figures out what he wants. I hope he dosen't run back to her. Thanks for the advice
