    I think alot of guys like to have that control and feeling of being the protector, but I'm sure that a guy wouldn't let hieght stand in the way of a relationship with someone he loved.

    I read somewhere (so correct me if I'm wrong) that after spending two years with a person, you know for a definate wether or not you want to spend the rest of your life with them.

    I'm sure she did the best she could Anyway, you should do what feels right, not what some guy thinks is right. Follow your heart and take your head with you IMHO I believe that religion gets in the way of life, it causes so many conflicts and if we could all just accept that nobody knows the meaning of life (etc) then all these wars on who is right would cease to happen. And I know it's a little off topic (I sure hope it's not counted as flamming, if it is I am sorry) but although it's nice to believe that there is a god out there that will comfort us, it's silly to think that he would punish someone for masturbating, considering that it is both healthy and natural.

    Maybe this guy isn't ready for a serious relationship, or maybe he values his sisters opinions too much. In fact, they might be afraid you'll take their brother away and he won't be there to do these jobs for them! I don't know, it's just a thought.

    I don't think you have much right to be picky and choosy about someones weight, because you are doing the same thing to them, as they are to you (but instead with you its about your clothes). It's a vicious circle of prejudice that was need to get out of.

    Wouldn't over weight women be a nicer term to use? Very true, and judging someone on their body size, as opposed to say red hair which in most cases they have no control over, especially when most people have atleast some control over their weight is the same as us judging you by your clothes. Seeing as you HAVE control over them. So IMO we should just spit out a heap of contrdicting words and we'll get away with it like you do

To keep on topic: Being a nerd isn't exactly a turn off -- having a horrible personality is, though. OMG talk about being hypocritical But with all do respect I don't think it's the clothes turning women off anymore
