Mahlina , how can you criticize the big gold dollar sign chains!..I was planning on getting me one and a big puffy jackets I was gonna be like Jamie Kennedy in Malibu's Most Wanted if you've seen that movie.if not you should it was funny. No I'm j/k about what I've posted up there I agree I've seen guys with pants about to fall off, and girls with thongs hanging out and I think to myself no one wants to see that!! Ok as I've talked before about this girl I like and I'm not sure if she likes me or not I mean she walks with me after class and never makes excuses to leave or anything, she laughs at what I say and smiles..the other day I complimented her on how her hair looked and she smiled and said thankyou. My question is this..she's never mentioned seeing anyone so do you think the odds are good she'd say yes if I asked her to a movie or something and anyone got any tips on how to ask without sounding too stupid..I'm a shy person but I've learned to get over it a lot. Ok first off Please Disregard my previous post I honestly do not know what I was thinking ok!! so please don't view it anymore cause i'm embarrassed to have even asked that. Anyways I was wondering if anyone can help me with my problem right now: I talk to this girl at school just about every other day if she's there and she walks with me after class and finds the silly remarks i make about the class funny..my question is this today I paid her a compliment about her hair she did something different to it and she explained what she did and said thanks so I'm wondering if she's thinking I like her cause I do but I'm unsure on how she is..I mean i guess i'm not doing bad so far I mean if she didn't like me she wouldn't be walking with me and stuff. What do you guys think.. P.S. Ok if you've read my previous posts about this girl I like and talk with and school and all then you'll know more what I'm talking about anyways..I usually walk with this girl after class through the parking lot and I usually make a silly remark about the class that she'll laugh and smile at. 2 Questions here I'd like comments on: 1st: I've just sat thinking here if any of you guys read my previous posts about this girl I like in a class of mine..First off I'm am a HUGE Second-Guesser on stuff I get it from my mom she's worse at it..I constantly go back and replay something in my head over and over analyzing it wondering did I do this or that right or wrong blah blah blah. Anyways I really like this girl and I have no idea if she likes me or not I mean she'll walk with me after class to the parking lot, laugh at funny remarks I make, I always get the door for her..always try to atleast..and I keep wondering to myself is she seeing someone or not?..if she is would she be this friendly towards me? 2nd Question: How do I keep myself from getting in the 'friend' area as they say? Yes Tinkerbell she did today when I was telling her about something the teacher said on monday that was funny she looked right at me and I did too but was still kinda nervous though. You say at an early age I'm about to turn 20 and I'm gonna assume she's in the same age range

Ok here I go: There's this girl that is in one of my classes and she's pretty good looking too. Well after a month of being shy towards her I started talking to her and I've introduced myself to her and she's done the same I'm always able to say something to get her to laugh each time I see her and sometimes I walk with her out to the parking lot after class. Today she came in and asked me if I was here(in class) on Mon. cause she wasn't and if I had the notes from it and I said yes and made some kinda joke about what she missed in class and she laughed and for a good part of the lecture I noticed she kept playing with her hair like straightening it or putting it behind her ears she did this Alot. So after class I left I didn't get a chance to talk to her again. So what do you guys figure does she like me? or is it too early to tell?..I'm planning on asking her out and this will be the first time I've done such and I'm OK with getting rejected I just don't wanna go on wondering well what if and blah blah? He should stand up to you if he cares about her!...God knows I would even though I'm 5'11 and am muscular to a certain extent. I mean do you get some kinda rise out of doing this? being 6'4 don't mean anything to me if I cared for the girl I'm gonna stand up and do anything and everything to keep her cause I'll be damned if I'm gonna let someone like you take her away from me after all I did to get her in the first place! How long do you think you'll be with this girl anyway if she does leave her current bf and whose to think someone else might come along thinking the same thing you did and before you know it she's gone. I Cannot stand people like you that just come in and take what you want when you see it and think that cause your bigger no one will stand up to you!

Two Days..Call him. I don't understand why there is supposed to be some rule about how many days one should wait I mean I would wait one day and then call cause you would think if a girl liked a guy and he liked her too he'd want to go out with her instead of sitting by a phone that's never gonna ring waiting for one to break down and call. No offense Mike and I say this in the most kindest way I can but I'm gonna be blunt. If I were dating a girl who worked with you and found out you and her were doing that I would not only break it off with her but beat you senseless!!! Put yourself in the place of her bf how would you feel if you found out your gf is cheating on you and you are nothing but faithful to her. That is so imature I can't even imagine what drives men to do this.. Just my two cents take it or leave it but I mean no offense by it

thanks I think I've got a good set of frames I got a set from Eddie Bauer named Newport, they don't make them anymore but my lenses aren't thick at all but I guess they are a good pair if anyone's heard of them let me know what you think. otherwise Thanks for all your input and replies it has certainly made me feel better about wearing these things.

I actually lost 20 pounds just after high school and have yet to gain that freshman whatever the number is some say you get. But I'm in a community college and a Criminal Justice major too. Its A LOT different than hs and like the other poster said you really do realize how much your parents did for you. And there are A Lot of pretty girls at college too..atleast there are at my school..they outnumber the guys on the student ratio scale

Wow Heb you really hit it there I was just gonna say try holding your counting to 10 and taking a deep breath!..No i'm kidding here I like your post cause I gotta quick temper too sometimes I feel it best to get in my car and drive to a bookstore or library where its quiet or just not go anywhere just drive around town for and hour and listen to the radio when its not jam packed full of ads. I'm willing to bet she's interested. I'm the same way right now with a girl I go to college with, everytime I see her she's even more prettier than I saw her and it took a lot of guts to go up and start talking but she's been nothing but nice to me. But enough of my rambling you should just keep talking to her and get to know her then try to ask her out soon. I'm sure she's not taking the compliment you gave her on her looks the wrong way so I guess just play it slow and carefully

Sorry you have to experience all of that. have you tried talking to your parents rationally? or are they just hard-headed?..don't feel overwhelmed by your schoolwork just pace yourself. good luck with it all

Look I'm gonna be blunt with you here on this one..you shouldn't in my opinion have sent him an email like that. Ok that is just wrong to do such a thing to him regardless of whether he's gay or straight. I'm a Christian myself actually Roman Catholic and they have their opinions on gays and so do I not being one; simply put I don't have a problem with them except for the no offense to how I'm gonna say this the "In Your Face" Gay people I'm talking about these that have to shove it in your face all the time thats what makes people hate them in my opinion(See the movie Philadelphia there's a scene in it btwn Denzel Washington and a man he talks to at a drug store about what I just described or tried to). I would be blunt with him but chances are he's not gay thats just my opinon and you will probably not fix the friendship by leading him on. It was wrong to do such a thing in my opinon, I mean think about how he feels right now..he's gotten an email from a friend of his who tells him that a girl is interested in him...chances are he's probably thrilled and wants to know more..i know I would...Well thats my story and I'm sticking to it. I can relate to this one as well I'm 2 months away from turning 20 and still no gf, no date..nothing and I consider myself good looking though I'm not gonna say I'm a perfect "10" as some would be quick to say about themselves but I'm still fairly shy though I owe this site some credit for helping me deal with it and I am just like the previous poster abstaining til marriage cause its the way I was brought up in my religion as well so your not the only one out there asking these questions. thanks for the replies like I said I got a pair of glasses that seem to suit me well and the lenses are clear(not transition though cause I've never been a big fan of them) and the frames are Eddie Bauer like I mentioned earlier.. But what can I say it hurts when people make comments like "Oh your a nerdy looking guy she wouldn't look or talk to you" or one of my favorites to get irritated when hearing: "you couldn't handle her anyway she's not your type"-that last one I snap back a remark of you don't know what either mine nor her "types" would be so whats it to you! So thanks for all the replies!..

Girls..A quick question here for and anyone else thats welcome to reply..Thankyou all in advance.. What do you girls think of guys who wear glasses..I'm not talking the Steve Urkel type with them worn on a strap around one's neck or thick bifocal or "coke-bottle" style..just plain and simple frames nothing off the wall. I mean a lot of people brand me as the 'nerd' or 'geek' type..which sometimes I take as a compliment rather than an insult cause I feel I'm a fairly intelligent person but a lot of times it gets to me. I'm 20 was able to loose a lot of weight and look different now but I kept my glasses because simply I can't wear contacts..my eye doc. says I need to keep wearing glasses to protect my eyes and I'm starting to wonder if this is a factor that prevents me from being able to get a date with a girl because some people I know say " Oh she won't go for you..your just a nerd" and blah blah blah which I really don't listen to anymore at all. So girls would you date a guy who wore glasses or do you honestly prefer without or does it even matter to you? Thanks for reading and replying
