$50 for a bikin wax? AND A TIP? I thought everything was supposed to be cheaper in the states. I pay £10 for a bikini wax. (and we don't do tipping here!).

Whats the point in marriage???
MissyM replied to Riggz41510's topic in Marriage/Long Term Relationships
"He saw it as a meaningless piece of paper and a waste of time." I always think that if they feel like that, then what's the problem in doing it? If it means nothing, why not just do it for the other person? -
I had this same problem. It's where some of the inside of the cervix grows on the outside, so when you have sex, it can bleed quite easily. It's just hormonal and nothing to worry about. It's happened to me maybe four times since I lost my virginity 14 years ago. I find when I'm on top it causes this problem. Try positions where his penis doesn't go in too deep. xxx

Living together vs. living together before marriage
MissyM replied to Cyberchick's topic in Marriage/Long Term Relationships
i thought it was smart to move in with my partner before I got married, but we're now quite a way down the line and there's still not sign of marriage, nor does there look liely to be. I've been tempted to have an affair (aparently I'm playing the victim whatever that means) and I feel like a 50 year old woman with nothing to look forward to in life. (I'm 27) Get married first. Someone said to me recently, "why would he pay for the milk when he already has the cow?". I rest my case. -
No, I live in North England, it's a different culture over here with regard to counselling. I wouldn't even know where to start. I've not eaten properley for just over a week. I've had the odd thing here and there but I've usually got a massive appetite, I have 3 good meals a day. It's like I just can't bring myself to eat, like a punishment.
-
I've been starving myself recently. I'm not sure if this is a case of self harm fuelled by self hatred or whether I'm in need of some control. My life is not going the way I planned and I'm deeply unhappy.
-
I've passed the 6 year mark now and I'm still waiting, so if I were you, I'd at least make it clear that you would like to be married sometime soon and then at least you won't end up in my shoes.

He confuses me though cause he says he does want marriage, but then won't elaborate.- 25 replies

Children outside of marriage
MissyM replied to Day_Walker's topic in Marriage/Long Term Relationships
I'd like to be married before I have children, but I don't think it's wrong to have children out of wedlock. If I became pregnant, I wouldn't be insistant on marriage before the child was born. -
Massive engagement jealousy
MissyM replied to tomato soup's topic in Marriage/Long Term Relationships
Soup, I've been with my bf for over 6 years, we do already live together, I'm 27 years old, all my friends are getting married and having babies and I can't even get my bf to talk about it. I think it's best you get this sorted sooner rather than later or you could end up the way I am. Not knowing what the future holds. Bordering on depressed and not knowing what to do about it all.- 25 replies

Tomato Soup - I am totally with you on this, I've always wanted to get married but it's never been a MASSIVE issue to me, but just this last year or two, everytime I hear a friend say they've got engaged, as m uch as I try to be happy for them, I'm so jealous and I cry buckets over it.- 25 replies
