Oh yeah, I meant stopping the phentermine, not the venlafaxine.

If you are feeling that awful on the phen, I really suggest calling up and talking to your doctor and seeing if you can get off of it. tell all your symptoms. You should not be suffering until March. That is way, way too much.

You should never, ever have to suffer like this. Yes, sometimes discomfort is expected when starting something new or maybe a pesky side effect but you can deal because the positives outweigh the negatives. Not in this case. I'm really glad you're reaching out.

The doctor told me to come in. He says it's too dangerous to stop taking the pills cold turkey. He's pretty sure the things I'm feeling are because I'm coming off the topiramate, but wants me to come in to talk about it anyway. He said if they get worse I have to go to the ER. But if it does, I'm just gonna pop an anxiety pill. I can't afford the ER. I can't afford this visit, either, but I think I have to go. It's on Saturday. They tried getting me in sooner, but I can't take time out from work.

I feel this overwhelming sense of loss. I feel like I'll never get it right. That this is who I am and I can't change it. Honestly? I don't want to live like this.

I have that throat tightening thing almost all day most days. It drives me nuts but I don't want to go on meds again.

Insurance is insane. I currently have to pay $180 a session until I hit my $4500 deductible. Last year I would have only had to pay $40 per visit.

I don't think insurance companies are allowed to jack up prices, so Blue Cross went and got sneaky, phased out my plan and "reintroduced" it at over $100 more. So now I have until the end of the month to decide if I want my old plan back at over $1200 more a year, although I'd only have to pay $40 per visit then.

You know it's getting nuts when YOU have to explain to your own mother how insurance, coinsurance, copays and all that crap works.

My own regular doctor appointments come out to $166.50. And he isn't even a specialist. And I don't even know how much one therapy session would cost me, since it isn't covered.

I already have about $60-70 per paycheck taken out for insurance. And it doesn't even cover anything. I'm looking around for other plans where even if I have to pay a little more per month, copays won't be as bad (or medications, either).

It's stressing me out so bad.

I'm sorry

So you're on your work plan. Is that weekly? Or bi-weekly? You could probably get a better deal on your own plan. That's what I did.

I'm on the hunt to find a cheap computer desk for my PC. Craigslist doesn't really have anything good in the distance I'm willing to travel to, so I'll have to buy new. I'm going to set up my PC this weekend and get back into PC gaming. I used to play Dungeons and Dragons Online with some family a couple years back and I still have the account. I'd like to get back into it. Not fully immersed like I used to be, but just as a way to reconnect with them again.

I want to get going to the gym, but I'm scared to. My resting heart rate is well over 100 currently. I think it would be smarter to wait until I see the doctor on Saturday. The nurse, when she called yesterday, didn't say to stop taking anything, so today is a topiramate day. Blech.

My first ACA meeting is today right after work. Emailed to confirm.

My mother has one of those at her work. She works for the county and as part of their "healthy living" movement, they offered employees of the county the opportunity to get one of those desks called Varidesk. You swap out sitting and standing every half hour. It has a timer on it that tells you when to do both. It's cool!

For my next desk, I want to make one out of wooden crates

I think this is so awesome. And you can make it as big or small as you want by changing the size of the top.

I just bought a bunch of these crates (from Walmart) and stained them and hung them up as shelving in my bathroom- they turned out pretty awesome.

Whatever I can find that is cheap. I don't have $200 to spend on a desk, I have like.. $50, maybe. Lol. I asked around, hoping someone had one they wanted to give away. I'm not good with crafts, either, so I'm not interested in making one. It has to go in a corner. Hoping to find something small so that I can also still fit a small loveseat, too.

I will take a picture of the area it's going in when I get home tonight, so you can see the space I have to work with. I'd love some ideas!

How are you feeling today WL?

I'm cranky as all hell today, reinvent! At work, every facility and patient is getting on my last damn nerve!!! For real, I'm so irritable, it's crazy. Today was a topiramate day, so I'm dealing with those symptoms instead of the ones I've been dealing with the last 3 days. Still tight in the chest, but not as bad. So that's good, I suppose.

Here's an idea: ]

I love it! It's perfect. I'm going to check around online in case I see a similar one for cheaper, but if not I'll likely stop by Home Depot this weekend.

Oh that's cool that there is a timer built in. I might get one for my office.
