I think with outdoor activities, it will be easier to talk to her. Imean, she is still in 'holiday mode' and coffee might come off as boring.

She probably felt that you were not interested in her as more than a friend. Her shutting you out is probably because she feels resentment towards you for her having started a relationship with someone else yet you are the one that she truly loves. She feels that you do not love her in return. She is probably misearble with this new guy. To solve the problem, you could tell her how you really feel about her instead of bottling it all up.

If you decide that you want to be friends only with this girl then you have to realize that there will be no going back. You will automatically become friendzoned (if she does agree to be friends with you of course). If you are romantically interested in her, I would say leave her alone. She has a boyfriend already.

You're doing OK man. If you had begged with her to give you a chance it would have been a different story. Instead you showed her that you are not needy and can survive on your own. Good work!!!
