  1. Rebound Guy: sounds like you are not over your ex yet , so why stress about it! Give yourself some time to heal from your last relationship, your ex should not even be an issue in any new relationship. Find a new muse to compare women with, and by the way YOU may not be her ideal type! This girl may or may not be the one for you. I think you should look at each person for who they in addition to looks. Your ex is a prime example of a person with a great body but bad personality. A relationship or marriage should not be based on JUST sex! You are being kind of Shallow Hal. Give the new girl a chance if it justs not there move on but do not lead the girl on. TAKE THINGS SLOW!! Good Luck!!!
  2. Every time I read this story it makes me sad. Really, honey what helped me with my break up with my boyfriend of four years, was going to church and finding strength in the words of GOD. Go buy a bible and PRAY! TRUST ME YOU WILL STOP CRYING AND FEEL SO MUCH BETTER ABOUT YOUR LIFE! If everything in your life is going wrong why not try out something that is right. I found out that contact only re-opens the wounds so you have cut off all contact with him. Give him one last chance(I WOULD NOT) and if he does not take your offer then leave for good and NEVER LOOK BACK!!! Giving up sixs years is nothing compared to spending the rest of your life with a cheat! I gave up a total of 8 years of my life in bad relationships and I am never going back!! YOU CAN DO IT TOO!
  3. Sweetheart please leave this man alone! You need to find the strenght to stop calling him and move on with your life. This man does not respect you, or feel the need to treat you the way a woman should be treated. I know that it will be hard ,but move on with your life you have already done everything in your power to try to make this "relationship" work. I would have left this guy a long time ago , he is putting you at risk for STD's and he treats you like dirt. It sounds as if you do not value yourself b/c if you did you would know that you are a wonderful woman who deserves better than what this guy is offering to you . Walk away and never look back. This BOY only wants what he can not have, so when he sees that you are making it with out him, he will try to come back into your life. I hope that you will be smart enough to not take this creep back. Get support from your friends and family to help you get through this messy breakup. You should also find a church in your hometown and grow from the power of GOD. He does not Love you if he is treating you that way.
  4. Max, I was like you at one time, you do not sound happy in your relationship. You sould work in finding supportive new friends. Your boyfriend does not respect you very much by the the way he treats you. All you need is yourself to be happy! Do not place all of your value of yourself in a relationship good or bad! Go to church, read your bible and pray for the strenght to be independent! Love yourself. I personally would not accept that type of behavior. If you choose to stay, he needs to respect you and you should respect him also. Relationships should not be based only on sex. He sounds kind of abusive, I would say dump him but it is you who will have to determine what you will put up with. Good Luck !D
  5. You answered all of your own questions: 1. He did not give himself time to heal from his first relationship. He may be over this other girl but the scares and pain are still there. 2. He broke up with you because the both of you hit the Six month mark, which is that same amount of time of his first relationship. 3. He is afraid of you hurting him like his ex-girlfriend did. He reasoning was most likely dump her before she dumps you. 4. He is only 20 years old most guys at this age do not know what they want. He wants to be friends so he can still have you in his life and also explore other options. 5. He does not want to cheat on you! He knows first hand what being cheated on feels like, he does not want you to feel the same pain. Just give him some space maybe he will see how GREAT you are! Do not invest your time in someone who is unsure of his feelings. Remain friends with him, but try to date others. He does Love you, he just does not know what he wants! Sometimes in life we can Love someone but they may not be the right person for us. Time will tell what will happen between you, but focus on making your life happy with or without him! When someone cheats on you it is the biggest blow to the ego that anyone can ever have. It took me over a year to get over the pains of being cheated on after being in a four year relationship with my first love. Now I just got out of another four year relationship but I feel much better about myself this time around.
  6. I was in your shoes about a month ago. My ex cheated on me and I wanted to get my things back. He did everything in his power to try to keep my things. I finally got my things back after two months of beign broken up. Money does not grow on trees and I do not work to support some jerkoff. When people say that they want space sometimes it is a polite and cowardly way to tell someone that they do not want be in a relationship with you anymore. In your case however your girlfriend may want to get back together with you, but it would be best to move on. Moving on does not mean to go out and date every girl out there. Start to date again when you are ready. Work on your life and career! You will be a better man if she does come back, and if she does not it is her loss and your new hot girlfriend will be glad that she dumped you! ALL YOU NEED IS YOURSELF!!! DO NOT DEPEND ON SOMEONE ELSE FOR YOUR HAPPINESS! Take time to heal yourself! Being single is time for self development! What helped me get though my breakup was reading my bible and getting reconected with God. I thought that I could not go on with out this guy, but now I am over him!!! (It has been 3 months today) I am not ready to date but I do not need a man to validate who I am! Do not be so dependent on this girl. If the loan and belongings can be replaced( you have enough money to buy new things) then just replace them. In my case, My ex was a greedy jerk so I had to get my things back, he thought that I wanted to see him but I did not. My objective was to get back my things from a jerk who thought that he could keep $600 worth of my things. He was a coward, your ex-girlfriend seems nice. If they were gifts then they are hers, but I don't see anything wrong with getting your things back. If she really loves you she should understand, that you have to watch movies to!
