  1. I can see what RayKay is saying about the sporting aspect of it, but becuase of where I live (Very rural Wales) it makes the competition hard in the respects you mentioned - however I do compete with my older brother in dighy sailing, but no-one ever gets to see what goes on!
  2. Ok, I've been very keen on keeping myself looking good for at least the last year, and I'm pleased to say that I think I've done a fairly good job over it! (Still Single though!) Anyway, I need to set myself some goals for my fitness training because I fear flagging motivation. I exercise exclusively for image as supposed to anything else! (Vanity 8)) I used to use weight loss, but I cant any more because I'm 6ft and 10 Stone. I haven't got a body fat measuring thing, but when I last used one it was 7%. So how can I set realistic, measurable goals, that will eventually make me more attractive to the girls? I am going away where at the end of this month where I will be meeting some girls end most likely be going swimming with them, so finger crossed! Apart from that I want to be looking good for hols in February!
  3. When I approach a girl I am always worried that I am going to find myself chatting up someone who is in a relationship. So... How best to say it without sounding a freak, or would it just be a better idea to get a conctact number and find out in a more subtle fashion, at the risk of getting a full phone book? Thanks all...
  4. Ok thanks all, especially Michele! As for the picture - I saw it in the forums avatr libraries and I kind of liked it, thats all! 8) Anyhow thanks for the advice - atm I don't have a GF let alone anyone I know well wnough to perform with. And I've been in the park bench situation - I understand what was said about taking one's time!
  5. Its something that I have been considering a lot recently is what does it mean to lose ones virginity? Is it that mcuh of a defining thing?
  6. Ok thanks DB - gave me a thought - you cited the the example of shopping. Is it acceptable to take an opportunity like that to make a move and speak to someone in a situation like that? I would normally pass something like that up!
  7. If you like him that much then think of how good it owuld be if you where with him. Use it to motivate you. I find approaching girls a challenge, and I actually enjoy doing that part! One thought - while finding his name in a way like DarkBlue said (And I have done it like that) it might not be a good idea to go and say Hi [Name] - he might get a bit freaked out by you knowing it! Doc
  8. Ok, to be honest the main problem I have had with any relationship is getting transport to see her anywhere, and I think that's probably the main reason why I'm single! I kind of have two questions here, and the shortest is this - how often does one have to meet ones GF to really hold together a good relationship? And please don't just say as often as possible! Every two days? Here's the longer one - the means I have (Somewhat Lame) is cycling. I can cycle 23 miles in 3 hours over traditional Welsh hills, so that puts me pretty much all over our county. So I have the capability to regularly meet anyone from about 4 fairly large towns. I assume that there would be at least one girl in one of those towns that I would feel very attracted to. How do I meet her? The crux of it all is that I don't go to school - I have been home-schooled since the start, and I go part-time to college to do GCSE courses. I think the college part accounts for my attraction to older girls. So without the medium of school, how can I meet 'her'? I do go to Air Cadets, but through some twist of fate we have an entirely male squadron! Thanks all!
  9. Here we go again... 8) I know a 'girl' from a number of weekends I have been on with Air Cadets. Thing is she is 21, I'm 15 and she lives a good way away from me. Now I know that no 21 year old in her right mind would go out with me, but I can't help feeling really attracted to her. I mean I think she's gorgeous!!! My brother, who is 19 knows her as well and wanted to go out with her but he isn't because of the distance. He knows how I fell about her and he hasn't got a problem with it. Now here's the question - do I tell her how I feel about her (I do have her number BTW, but I didn't get it directly from her. She knows I have it) or just leave it and get over it? I mean I don't want an awkward situation if she thinks I'm staring at her or something weird like that.... Atm I'm not going to do anything and just try to be normal around her. Should I tell her? If yes, how? Doc
  10. I'm with the others on this too. However don't burn your boats - If you get aske dout by someone else you like then take it, but otherwise take it easy, they may split up. I was seeing a girl a while ago who I really liked, much like you. I thought she was single, so I asked for her e-mail and I got to know her quite well. Upon asking her out I found out she did jave someone. Its 3 months later now, we stayed in contact quite frequently and I know they are not getting on too well and she told me that she is thinking of leaving him. She has asked me out cycling with her, so I think I'm in with a chance again! Doc
  11. I would say I came fairly close to being addicted to the aforementioned activity myself a while ago. The way I 'cut back' was just by setting a time when I would do it, and making sure I didn't indulge myself in between times! You get used to it in time. Doc
  12. I had been planning at length how to ask out my now girlfriend, and I knew we are going to be spending next weekend together so I had it all worked out. However, as so frequently happens, another opportunity came up to meet her before that, with a bout ½ hour's notice! So my plan came in for a little alteration. I knew, or at least I felt fairly sure that she liked me from what she had been texting to me. Because she lives quite a long way away from me I didn't want to commit myself to actually going out with her, what I did worked amazingly well! Cheesy as it may sound, I simply asked her, exact words here, 'How much do you like me?' She responded by asking me in what way I meant, and I was like, Anyway at all? I made the only mistake I think happened, and that was that I didn't get her on her own first. I think she must have guessed what I was getting at because she just said 'Lets go!' She took us off to be alone, and it just kind of went from there. Yes, we both liked each other, and conveniently she brought up the distance issue as well. All sorted, very smoothly with a minimum of fuss AND the required result! As I said, if you choose to do it this way, make sure you get her on her own first! Has anyone else done it like this? I think not quite knowing how you stand with someone is the hardest thing ever, is it friends or does she want something more? Anyway that's my two-pence, I hope you enjoyed reading it! Doc 8)
  13. Thanks all will do! And Minty80, I'm reading that site now! I don't see why it should be a problem between us - more of a n experience I think! Doc
  14. Yes my ex and I where in a height gap relatioship! She was 4'5 and I am nearly 6'1. It wasnt a problem too much apart from we couldnt really kiss properyly unles sitting or lying down. Not too much of a problem really! It certainly wasnt why we split up. Doc
  15. I found out today that my girlfriend is a Jew. I havent got a problem with that whatsoever, I have just never really met any Jewish people before, so I wanted to know if there was anyhting I should know about? I know that she's a vegitarian and all that but I have NO IDEA about anything else tbh! Help please, just things that I shouldnt say and other traps like that! I'm an Atheist myself and I'm very open minded about any other religion. Thanks for help, Doc 8)[/i]

  18. I need some suggestions to get some more noticeable muscle on my forearms. Lets face it, most of the time that the only proper muscly part of me that can be seen! 8) I have heard that doing press-ups, but holding yourself up on your fingers helps, but I would think the strain must be huge! I can do 20 ordinary presses, so its not that I can't / won't do it! Any 'works for me' suggestion? Thanks a lot all! Doc

  21. I have a moderate case of aforementioned ailment... But no matter how hard I wash it never seems to disappear! Im always being told its all in the washing. After i do my skin feels almost dry, but it seems to grease over within an hour or so again! WTH can i do about that? And it seems that I won't change anything and they will get a little better, and thne decline again.
