  1. Such a nice way to spend time with your son. I'm missing mine tonight.
  2. Yes, time outdoors is good. I got myself a pair of really good gumboots and a good quality jacket with hood which is waterproof and warm. I went to ponies as usual and was able to keep working in the rain. Then there was a rainbow in the sky.
  3. That sounds very nice Lum. How thoughtful of them.
  4. Yeah, know how you feel. My sons father bought him a motorbike and they lived in a large city and that was worse, but here they have to be a bit older.
  5. Poor boy. I hope he has learnt and something good comes along for him.
  6. I'm giving you what I think you have wanted for a long time - I'm just going to fade out of your life and disappear. I made so many excuses for how you treated me over the years, but when all is said and done, that's not how men treat women who they love. I know my exit from your life will be no great loss. Maybe you will be relieved. I loved you so much and maybe still do, but Zi just can't take it anymore.
  7. Ask RN - I love squirrels but have never seen one in real life.
  8. We have rabbits but I think thats about it although there were some kangaroos across the road yesterday morning.
  9. A www Chipmonls!! I have only seen them in the movie Alvin and the Chipmonks. Do some people really keep them as pets?
  10. I like it when the fruit trees go into blossom. Very pretty.
  11. High twenties is not so hot for us - nice and warm!
  12. Is it spring there for you now? I like early autumn and spring the most.
  13. So sorry Vic. I hope it all gets sorted soon.
  14. Oh I'm sorry Lym. I didn't realise you meant memorial service for a friend. Monday here is big Memorial Day for veterans and for some reason, Iassumed you meant the same. I'm glad it went as well as it could have.
  15. Hi alum, I've done one big batch already but not in the slow cooker. I was thinking that I will use the slow-cooker for the soups now though. I feel bad that I end up composting so much fruit and veg Im given as so many people grow their own here. Friend going to show me how to do jam, but I want to have a go at doing vegetarian stocks and keep in the pantry - not enough freezer room but a huge walk-in pantry.
  16. She sounds a bit like my old boss. Always their own ugly politics and self-promotion underneath that behaviour
  17. Sounds very nice. I just bought a new slow cooker. So far just cooked quinces in it.
  18. Good you were able to deal with that woman. I've had nice in the feed shed recently and the farm cat cones and sits in their for hours. Sounds silly, but even though I don't like mice, I fin it hard to kill them so glad the cats take car of them.
  19. Glad to see life is going well for you Lum (())
  20. Blah taxes - one of my least favourite things to do.
