JuStAgIrL31806
I am seeing several posts about songs lately. When everyone gets depressed, and like to listen to a sad song to help them cry and get it all out. Post your songs you listen to to help you get through your emotions...when you have problems with your relationship, a break up, parent problems, etc... Several songs that I have are: By the way, if you know the artist, please post their names too, incase someone wants to get the song and listen to it. Country: George Strait- Today My World Slipped Away(old) Randy Travis- I Told You So(old) Keith Urban- Tonight I want to cry(kinda new) Danielle Peck- I don't(new song) Rock: Staind- Its Been Awhile(old) Everlast- What its Like(old) Nickelback- Far Away(new) And there are many more. I am curious as to see what other people put. Link to comment
renaissancewoman101
When I am sad and depressed I usually listen to songs by Enya. I have all her music downloaded onto my IPod. I also like to listen to opera. Right now I am listening to Cecilia Bartoli's "Opera Proibita", a lot of the songs on there are kinda haunting and sad. All the songs are in Italian but the lyrics seem so sad and haunting. I am not depressed right now but tonight I just wanted to listen to some opera. Link to comment
Dreng3333
Are you looking just for sad songs to cry to? Well I don't know about cry, but I have some sad ones. Though some (ok most) of them don't really have sad lyrics, so much as the music itself sounds sad, or just makes me sad sometimes, I guess it is an individual thing. But anyway, here are a few: How's It Gonna Be - Third Eye Blind I Don't Want You Back - Eamon (good for break-ups, lol) Look What You've Done - Jet The Freshman - The Verve Pipe (I really like this song, but when I am in a certain mood it can make me very sad.) becallamjr
Diconnected - Trapt Right now - Korn Wait and Bleed - Slipknot Stand up - Trapt Feeling too damn good - Nickelback Ugly - Exies 45 - Shinedown* I have so many more, but I tend not to cry ever. I just get angry and then I wanna hurt myself so I try to listen to music to stop myself. Sometimes I'm successful. Link to comment

Süsser Tod
I haven't been able to cry for a while. Depression has been quite bad, so, I'm way past the point of crying. Last song that made me shed a tear was "Call Me When September Ends", that was last September, and I've been stuck in my current state since then. Link to comment
renaissancewoman101
Susser Tod, I like that song "Call Me When Sept Ends". It is a really good song. The first time I heard that song was, I think on MSNBC, they were doing a slideshow thing of what happened in New Orleans during Hurricane Katrina and that song was playing as the backdrop music. butterflycloud
this must be the song that has helped me the most- Ive listened to it so much that the CD has actually snapped in half! by Sarah Maclachlin Fallen Heaven Bend to take my hand And lead me through the fire Be the long awaited answer To a long and painful fight Truth be told I tried my best But somewhere long the way I got caught up in all there was to offer But the cost was so much more than I could bear Though I've tried I've fallen I have sunk so low I messed up Better I should know So don't come round here and Tell me I told you so We all begin out with good intent When love is raw and young We believe that we can change ourselves The past can be undone But we carry on our back the burdens time always reveals In the lonely light of morning In the wound that would not heal It's the bitter taste of losing everything I've held so dear Though I've tried I've fallen I have sunk so low I messed up Better I should know So don't come round here and Tell me I told you so Heaven bend to take my hand I've nowhere left to turn I'm lost to these I thought were friends To everyone I know Oh they turn their heads embarrassed Pretend that they don't see That it's one wrong step one slip before you know it And there doesn't seem away to be redeemed Though I've tried I've fallen I have sunk so low I messed up Better I should know So don't come round here and Tell me I told you so I messed up Better I should know So don't come round here and Tell me I told you so Link to comment

Süsser Tod
A song to live by, sorry, it is long, but includes most of what I believe in. (Yes, i have some pseudo intellectual in me) Armageddon - Evangelion VOX Verse 1 How many times must we start again The creation of the world from beginning to end What will it take before we learn We gotta wake up now ‘n’ show some concern What will the future hold How many untold stories will be told Just what will the future bring How many species of birds will have a song to sing Man ‘n’ man can’t even get on ‘N’ man ‘n’ womans been at war for far too long Superior race all this black ‘n’ white vision Catholic. Muslim. There’s too many religions Too much hatred too much greed Ignorant people pollute the air that we breathe We’ve gotta wake up now before it’s much too late Hungry people need food on their plate People being killed for just a few pence Can you justify that ’cause it makes no sense to me You’re growing up much too fast The destruction of mankind - how long will it last Verse 2 Perfect - that’s what I’m striving to be The next best thing will do for me I do my best you disagree Holier - than - thou holier - than - me Commiting crimes with no remorse As good as gold now an evil force One word description is a dis You lick a boy down for his bag of cheese ‘n’ onion crisp And you don’t even stop to think Whatever happened to the dinosaurs could make us all extinct I’m being judged by the clothes that I wear We gotta educate those with a grudge to bear But I’m content to a certain extent You’re condemned for life it’s too late to repent Inna - most beauty such a terrible waste Caught between a rock and a hard place. Verse 3 Be judged according to what you’ve done Live this life the next is a better one Eat the fruit from the tree of life ‘Cause if you live by the sword… you’ll die by the knife How great and wonderful are your days How right and true are your ways… No more death, grief, crying or pain ‘Cause only the good things will remain… Heed my words ’cause what I’m saying is true Treat them exactly as they treated you - Wipe away the tears from your eyes Be proud, lift your head up - reach for the skys. Verse 4 Condemned for what you did to them Now see how quick they fall to worship him There’s a place in my heart that makes me understand Prepared and ready like a bride dressed to meet her husband Treat life as a learning process I said turn right so you took a sharp left Wake up and we’ll all sleep peacefully The sun shines but it still seems bleak to me You tell a lie and convince me it’s the truth I’m well mannered yet you still call me uncouth I believe that there’s got to be much more I hope I’m ready when death comes knockin’ on my door Mabye tonight mabye as I sleep It can drive you mad if you think too deep But don’t have a breakdown ’cause I called you a clown You threw a punch ‘n’ missed I killed you with a kiss What on earth will you do then The hour of your death amen ‘N’ all the prejudice that I’ve sustained I know it sounds funny but I just can’t stand the pain Six foot below Reap what you sow Grim without grief Sad without sorrow Link to comment

Saw her on Nashville Star, the country talent contest. Yes, I'm a geek about this stuff. Though I'm sure he only has eyes for you. Link to comment
