All I think about is when I was raped by a guy I met while I was out walking to re fresh my head from thoughts I was having.

I didn't do anything, I wasn't wearing anything to cause him to rape me. I just cant get over it 😞 I feel disgusting.

😭😭😭. It's all my fault.

I’m sorry that you’re going through the aftermath of it. It’s been a year since I was raped and I still have days I’m troubled. It was never your fault but as victims we unfortunately feel the blame. I would seek a new therapist a female one if you can. After my incident I have trouble having male doctors even.

Honey, I'm so sorry.

Please know that I hear your pain and empathize with you 💜

I do suggest a female therapist as well and she'll show you the way to healing and feeling empowered.

How's your support network? Do you have people who can support you and listen to you?

Are you taking care of yourself?

Thank you so much! I do hope I can get a female therapist! Much love x

Why not use thread titles that would help you such as "looking for new therapist" ? Also it would help if you weren't so snippy with people who responded to your other multiple "tw"  threads. Keep in mind that only professional help can treat you. Including the appropriate  non profit helpline organizations.

"Although the subject has generated political controversy, research suggests that trigger warnings are neither harmful nor especially helpful. Among people without traumatic experiences, "trigger warnings did not affect anxiety responses to potentially distressing material in general.""

None of this is your fault. Wouldn't matter if you were wearing skimpy clothing or a potato sack. Rape is not about sex, it is about power and control. I've been raped and know how much emotional hurt it causes. But healing IS possible.

Please change therapists. Why have him if he just makes you feel worthless? Have you spoke with specialist organisations? Been for a sexual health check?

Please don't think you are alone in this as you are not. Help is out there. You've had the most traumatic thing in the world happen to you and you are still standing. Rape is used to demoralise you but you are seeking help and healing - you are stronger than you know.

Again, you have done nothing wrong and please feel free to inbox me at anytime ❤️

I concur with others about seeking out a female therapist, in your state his actions will be viewed differently than the same from a woman. To help you find the tools to deal with this repugnant violation you need someone you can engage with.

You have no blame in this what so ever, take everyday slowly and tell yourself that you owe your future-self every effort for the brighter days ahead.
