This is my love, Niki (right). Sorry for the image quality, it's actually a scan of a picture I took 10 years ago with a crappy digital camera. The kitten on my legs is a stray that I rescued. Niki LOVED kittens. Any time I brought one home, she was all over it. So cute to see. In this picture, she just got finished herding this little guy all over the basement and resigned herself to hovering over him as he rested.

 

See the mischief in her eyes? We don't see that anymore. Poor Niki is now almost 16 years old, on her way out

there's a majestic neighborhood cat whom i call Leo. I don't know what his name really is, but if i ever find out it's anything other than Leo i'll be really disappointed. He needs a pyramid.
