When a women showers..?

Hello I'm doing a psychology thesis about women when they shower and when they dry off. Please women (or guys who know their women) answer these 2 simple questions...

 

When you are finish showering, you dry yourself off in the shower or step out of it then dry off?

 

How comfortable are you with your body?

Step out and dry off. (Honestly, I thought that was what most people did. My guy dries off in the shower. First Ìve seen of that!)

Well i step out then dry off and i would say most of the time im comfortable with my body.

I'm curious - what is the psychological aspect you're looking at here in regards to how women dry off after a shower? What are you expecting our answers to tell you?

 

Personally, I would get out the shower before drying off. Firstly - shower = confined space. It makes no sense to try and get dry inside it. Second, it's slippery. I don't want to fall over, catch my head on something and die. Much safer to exit the shower first.

Step out and dry off. Surely drying off in the shower would just get your towel wet?

At school I reach outside the stall for my towel and wrap it around myself, because there's a lot of traffic in the bathroom and I don't want to expose myself to 5 girls first thing in the morning!

 

At home I step out and then wrap myself, go into my room, towel off and change.

Yes, Im pretty comfortbale with my body... for the most part.

I do half and half. Dry the top body while in the shower and the rest while I'm out.

Who would even think of drying off IN the shower???? I dry off outside the shower and sometimes even walk around the house naked or with just a towel on. With age comes an acceptance and appreciation of your body, no matter what shape it is in! I love my body. It does so many neat things!!

My boyfriend said its because he dòesnt want to get the floor wet.

Even though theres a bathmat on the floor for that exact purpose.

 

And then he proceeeds to walk around naked.

My GF's have all done the same thing. Dry off in the shower down to below their knees and then step out to finish. They have all said they like to stay in the warm, moist air for as long as possible, as getting out while wet gave them a chill.

My girlfriend usually tells me to lick off all the water. Don't know how that works since I'm pretty sure I'm adding more liquid that way, but we can't afford towels.

My bathroom is heated, so I would definitely have issues if I dried off in the shower. Aren't most bathrooms heated these days?

I step out & dry off. And I'm comfortable with my body, though I'm NOT the walk around my house naked kind of comfortable.

I'm self conscious, but when I'm alone or with my bf, I like to be in the nude.

I'm not a woman, but I think some people partially dry off in the shower to prevent themselves from dripping all over the place. That's a factor you'll have to consider in your study.

It depends on where I am. At the gym I dry off in the shower for privacy. At home I just squeeze the water out of my hair and step out. I am very comfortable with my body, however, I know it makes other women uncomfortable when you dry yourself in front of them.
