Simple thread. Just post what song you're currently listening to, and an explanation of the song if you wish. I'm listening to "March of the Black Queen" by Queen.

I think most of us could use some emotional support through the pandemic. To be clear this is SUPPORT , criticism and blaming is not needed. I know some us out here are high risk or normal risk. If you need a warm fuzzy today, I love you ❤️ Virtual hug.

Does anyone over the age of 50 remember high school really well? I went to four different high schools soooooo sometimes I am lucky if I even remember the building or half the people I went to school with. It just took me two hours to remember the name of a girl I chummed around with for like three years. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

Sometimes you just need to vent, right? What's annoying me today: patients that call in and tell me they came in the other day for an exam. And then don't say anything - like they literally tell me that and then go silent. So I'm like "... Okay, what can I do for you?"

I live and breathe music, but am especially moved by the perfectly phrased pared down lyric that cuts right to the bone. Current best example I can give is is Little Bit of Everything by Dawes. What song lyrics do it for you and why?

I never thought I would see such a day in my country. I pray for peace, compromise, and unity. I am not trying to start a political discussion, I am just so disheartened by everything.

Here's your chance to get those random thoughts out of your head and into in the open. They can be as weird and "out there" as you want! I'll start... I wonder how butterflies got their name...they fly, yes, but there is nothing about them that resembles anything remotely to butter...hmmm. Your turn!

Mine will be very quiet. My city is in near full lockdown, I think most cities are? It's going to be a strange New Years (nothing new with how this year has been). I am trying to stay positive, keep the hope that this new year will bring good things and a resolution to this virus. What will you be doing? Is your city in lockdown?

I've been gone a long time, but missed everyone so now I'm back. A hearty hello to both the old timers and the newcomers! I had to make a new username, hence the 2. Rest assured I'm the same waveseer from way back.

So I have been whining a lot about my anxiety, depression and fear. I would like to try to turn it around. So I am going to drop some happy/cheerful/funny thoughts here. My first one...I think it's a hoot that Martha Stewart and Snoop Dogg are friends. It's so awesome that two people who come from completely different walks of life can get along so well. I also am a fan of Fred Chang who was a contestant on Master Chef US. Just adore him. Anyone have anything to add?

Hello all! Hope you are all keeping well and safe during these crazy covid19 times. I am looking for recommendations for somewhere i can buy thats not insanely priced in the USA. I am basically buying the property to spend 6 months of the year in the US and 6 months in the UK as thats what my passport allows. I am looking to buy/move October 2021. My budget is $350k as i have to buy cash as not a US citizen. I am looking for something that has 3 bedrooms at least and is in a decent neighbourhood. I am going to live in the USA home from October 1st till March 31st so needs to be a state where it's warm that time of year, does not need to be ro…

A friend shared this passage with me, and I thought it worth passing along: “I don’t know if I’ve learned anything yet! I did learn how to have a happy home, but I consider myself fortunate in that regard because I could’ve rolled right by it. Everybody has a superficial side and a deep side, but this culture doesn’t place much value on depth — we don’t have shamans or soothsayers, and depth isn’t encouraged or understood. Surrounded by this shallow, glossy society we develop a shallow side, too, and we become attracted to fluff. That’s reflected in the fact that this culture sets up an addiction to romance based on insecurity — the uncertainty of whether or not you…

I don’t like them and want to add things to them which would suit my personality. The woman who did them lives across the street from me. 😓 Would you change them? I don’t want to hurt her feelings but at the same time I can’t stomach them I guess she didn’t understand what I meant.
