So I only worked a half hour longer than the others. I'm enjoying being home, watching football and maybe cooking a nice meal for myself. Link to comment

Batya33 Posted December 11, 2019 Share Posted December 11, 2019 Might sound odd but I am grateful that I am teary after sharing cute but heartwarming anecdotes about my late mother in law (on a Facebook thread kind of bashing mother in laws - I felt the need to interject positive and fun loving stuff) - I miss her and have missed her since she passed away 6 years ago but I am grateful that I have her in my heart to the extent that it would trigger that kind of emotion in me. I think that motivates me to share stories with our son who was only 4 when she died. Link to comment

Although she left me and does not talk to me... he is a wonderful man and he loves doing things with my Son. He drops my Son off and picks him up at my house and always stops for a chat on the deck with me and my wife... my dogs even like him! So sad, my ex is missing out on everyone being OK with things...
