I love giving oral, so shaven makes it a lot easier and more comfortable.

 

However, I don't really like hair, specially body hair, as it seems dirty to me. So I really like her to be shaved down there, I keep myself well trimmed as I don't like it on me either.

 

I have tried shaving, but my skin is too sensitive, and a couple days after shaving, my skin will literaly cover with small pimples (I can't even describe how painfull that was, the two times I tried it) so I have settled with keeping it well trimmed (beard trimmers are excelent for that).

It feels weird the first time you shave it all off. I felt naked when I did it. And when it grows back it can be uncomfortable/itchy. But after a few times, you get used to it. LOL I shave whenever I feel like it. I don't have anyone to impress ;-)

Don't shave, the effect will last about a day or two (in fact I don't think you will ever get the completely smooth effect unless you wax).

I highly doubt I could be confused with a pre-adolescent, but it does seem kinda gross to think some guys would get turned on by the hairless look for that reason.

 

I kinda think it has more to do with the fact that they can see more and no fur in the throat and teeth when they do take the dive.

And no, I didn't got used to the "shaved" look from porn. I decided to try shaving on myself way before I saw porn. Guess that when I saw porn it just confirmed what I knew all the time, it looks way better without hair.

i feel like i'm a little late on the shaving conversation, but i buy these small bikini razors that noxzema makes. they are one blade but specially made for the bikini area. when i was first starting to shave and trim i bought it and i never cut myself once and the bumps are nonexistant if you use either shaving cream or lotion. just using water leaves the bumps though so don't do that. i normally just shave underneath and leave some in the front because once i shaved it all off and felt like a little girl. it kinda creeped me out since i'd been used to seeing one thing for so long and then it was such a sudden difference.

I get a brazilian wax with a "barely-there" landing strip. When I say barely there, I really mean it. Less than half and inch wide and only a few cms high. The only reason why I leave it there is because I like some hair there otherwise I feel like a little girl (personal preference.) =)

 

When you get a wax, it usually last from 3-4 weeks, depending on how fast your hair grows back.

 

A wax is NOT suppose to burn. Yes, it hurts and will always hurt but you kinda get use to the pain. Kinda like plucking/waxing your eyebrows. The girl that does my waxing is really quick and usually done in about 10 mins.

 

Rose2Summer, I am a little concerned that you were burned during your wax. The wax is suppose to be warm, but it SHOULD NOT burn you or leave burn marks! And afterwards, you are suppose to be nice and smooth. I suggest if you ever think about getting waxed again, PLEASE find someone else!

 

Oh and just FYI, my salon also uses the highest quality azulene wax. This wax was designed to provide the most effective hair removal with the least bit of irritation.

I like it completely off just because it looks more appealing as a visual. If I go down there and it's a hairy bush, I don't care if I have been with the person for 25 years, I'm not goin there.

I like it completely shaved and so does my husband. I must say, I think there is less odor (not trying to be gross) especially in the summer! I shave it every two or three days to keep it up and just use the same shave gel I use on my legs and a Venus razor. I think it is addictive and increases my sexual pleasure. Personally, allow yourself to soak in the tub in warm water for 3-5 minutes and always exfoliate beforehand with a gentle scrub, which helps a lot in reducing ingrown hairs, if any.

 

Use a sharp, clean blade, as mentioned, and don't press too hard with the blade because it could cause irritation. Rinse well afterwards and apply cream...

 

I've never tried the bikini-zone cream, I usually just use a moisturizer or body butter, but I'll try it.

Depending on what type of waxing you're getting bikini or brazilian. Could range from $40-$100+, depending on where you go. Please make sure you go to a reputable place that uses quality wax.

Make sure you do not go for a wax a few days before your period or a few days afterwards because of the sensitivity of the area.

 

If you have really long hair down there, you want to trim a little bit. Leave about 1/4 to 1/2 of an inch just enough for the wax to hold on to the hair. Of course you want to be really clean. Another advice is to take two tylenols 30 minutes before you go. That helps with the pain a bit.

It's funny as I am really rather low maintenance. It really does not take long to do once you get hang of it!

 

I let my hair air dry, wear it in a ponytail most of time, only bother with makeup maybe once or twice a week (my job I don't really worry about it as I don't see anybody usually!), and just put on some sunscreen and go.

I definitely would encourage anyone new at the shaving technique to take a warm bath first and then sit on the edge of the tub. That is how I learned and now can do a quick clean up standing in the shower. I usually miss something though (shower is a little dim) so I always take a bath once a week to make sure everything gets squeaky clean.

 

I like to be clean shaven down there, Ive got a hell of a bush and feel almost matronly when its grown out. I also feel cleaner with a smooth cooch.
