Furry Girls (Normal, sexy, scary?)

Hi,

First off- I like natural women who are not obsessed with shaving. I think bodily (non-scalp based) hair is attractive and feels nice, as long as it is soft.

So I'm not having a go. In fact I find shaven women considerably less of a turn on.

Anyway; the other day I was perusing a sexy website (naming no names) where amateur type girls have been pictured, (by a female photograher I might add). Its all done with a lot more humour, taste and sincerity than your regulation porn site. So there was this one girl, who I'll refer to affectionately as 'a furry little one'. At first I was a bit taken aback, as this girl was pretty hirsute (pretty and hirsute actually). To be fair, she was dark haired, but her legs were hairy, and she some fur(!) around the navel. Not the clean shaven body you might expect.

This girl was cute, and I realised that it actually suited her. In fact I started to get turned on, despite myself. Maybe it was the confidence she had to revel in her naked body as it was meant to be, not conforming to some fantasy 'ideal' that men are supposed to want.

I've always liked my furry * * * * * but this was a new experience! I don't have a great experience of naked females, but what do women think on this subject- do you feel pressure to rein in your hairy side?

Men- are you for furry on non-furry?!

There are actually guys out there who think this? Why don't I know any of them? hahaha

It is hellish to shave some places, I gotta tell you. The returning stubble is torture, plus it is a risky area - any nicks would be apocalyptic, plus the higher risk of ingrown hairs and things. I support the shaving of underarms cause it is easy plus more convenient for the application of deodorant. Which is fairly important in our smell-obsessed society. haha. And legs I understand for cosmetic purposes, though I am lazy as hell with those But I would really rather just keep things trimmed otherwise, it can't be THAT intrusive, plus what is with the double standard?! I imagine there is only a small minority of guys who go shaving places. I myself have no qualms about a little natural body fuzz, or even a lot; would rather encounter it than stubble! But I guess some people (including my boyfriend) seem to think it is preferable to go bald in the chafe-sensitive areas. Not too much skin off my nose, really, if it makes him happy I will deal with it. But, ugh. Thank you for at least brightening my day with the fact that there are actually some people in the world who are not body hair phobic.

its nice to see a guy who can appreciate women for how they are naturally instead of being obsessed with the social norms. I used to shave my entire body bare, even my arms... but then it started taking me way too long to get ready in the morning so I decided to stop shaving my arms, but I still shaved everything else...

It was kind of frustrating when guys noticed that I had hairy arms and they would make negative comments about it.... I mean, we girls go through so much to look good for guys. We do our hair (which is a lot harder to care for since its long), our make-up, our nails, ect. And most guys just roll out of bed, throw some clothes on and go. We're lucky if the guys can even keep their facial hair well kept! Its definitely a big double standard.

I am furry just between the legs. I used to not shave anything, I did the whole hippy, nature girl thing in my teens and early 20's. I had very hairy legs and underarms..and I got a lot of stares but at the time I liked it and was comfortable with myself. My boyfriend liked it to. Now I have to shave or it feels weird, I like smooth legs and underarms....but my pippy can go furry. To each his own!

To the original poster: nice to see someone who is totally ok with furry women. And yes I do feel very pressured to be hair free on my legs (and sometimes privates) lol. But I also do it b/c it makes me feel more feminine and looks better.

I have to be honest and unhypocritical and say: if I where a guy I would be somewhat turned off by hairy women. Stubbly legs is ok but clean shaven is always better. So I don't blame guys for thinking the way they do. However I hate guys who want their girl to be perect all the time.

I was surprised to finally find a bf who doesn't give a crap about me being shaved down there or not and actually likes the natural look And is totally ok with my legs not being always shaven. I was unable to believe him at first but tell you the truth: it feels sooooooo liberating to not have to worry if I'm shaven or not and to be able to shave when I feel like it. (I wouldn't ever let my legs get too hairy but it's nice not to have to shave them every time, and not to have to worry if my privates are smooth or not (which takes time)).

Furrynavel though.. uhmm... noo! I think he would be turned off by that...

If hair isn't gross on men, then why would it suddenly have to be gross on a beautiful woman. You've made a good point. Personally, I wouldn't mind if the genders and sexes of all people become much more blurred in the future. Good looking people are good looking people, and failure to conform to polarised ideals of gender identity won't change that.

This girl was cute, and I realised that it actually suited her. In fact I started to get turned on, despite myself. Maybe it was the confidence she had to revel in her naked body as it was meant to be, not conforming to some fantasy 'ideal' that men are supposed to want.

I like to be shaved most of the time, but I will occasionally have hairy phases, and I think you've hit the nail on the head. It's confidence and knowing you're sexy that make you sexy. I've often thought that being shaven (and thin for that matter) where what you did if you didn't have the style, charisma, confidence and good taste to be attractive in other ways. If you look good, you don't need to be shaven. I've noticed often the most likely to be shaven/waxed girls will still be wearing tracksuits and not have much in the way of style. It seems absurd that they will go to the trouble if being hairless, but can't even be bothered putting on some nice clothes.

Personally, I try to be hairless down on the undercarriage if no where else. As far as sex goes, I think of it like hospitality. Just as I would not serve a person a meal in a restaurant with a hair on it, well, you know where I'm going....

LOL!!!!!!

I find this thread to be sooo hiliarious! Yet lots of fun.

Okay, when I was younger, I wasn't allowed to shave. At all, it sucked.

My mom didn't allow me to shave under my arms until I was 14 years old, and that's only after my godmother convinced her I should be allowed to.

I didn't shave my legs until I was 19 years old!!! My mom didn't want me to shave my legs. She made it seem that if you shaved your legs, they would grow hair back like a chia pet, in record time.

So ya, that totally scared me.

But when I shaved my legs, I LOVED it!!! I used to by the skintimate shaving gels in all different fragrances!

When I shave I feel so sexy and soft. I love shaving!

Augh, I know. How hard could it possibly be? Nothing wrong with a tiny bit of stubble, but when they cannot be bothered for a few days in a row things get a bit rough. Not a big fan of extremely chapped lips

I lucked out with my current man then...he shaves on a weekly basis but he has so little facial hair (grows at a slow rate too) that a week without shaving looks like a day or two without shaving on many guys. And since he's a bit lazy with the shaving bit...he's more understanding that I am a bit lazy as well with keeping my legs shaved.

good thread!

to op: thank you for being confident enough to express your opinion on fuzzy women. its really nice to see that society hasn't changed everyone.

Hi my names android12 and im a furry girl HAHA

im half french half portuguese and unfortunetly for me got the fair skin with the darkish hair. so hair on my arms for example is more visible then the average fair person. ive always been fine with it and would never do anything to change it. that means you can see more of my hairs in other places than alot of other people. for that reason i make sure i shave/wax(if i can be bothered) my legs and armpits before the hairs really show against my skin. everyone has hairs ALL OVER their body except for the palms of your hands and the sole of your feet. course they are teeny tiny fine little hairs. quite often you find even women with really blonde hair look hairy.

i keep my hair down there trimmed and shave/wax around the areas to keep it nice, and im really lucky that my bf is all good with it since i have SUPER sensitive skin and waxing down there makes me BLEED LIKE CRAZY and shaving...argh i wont go there. haha but i think both parties in a couple need to come to some sorta comprimise. its not cool if ones like yea ill be hairy but you have to wax it all off...sure if the person is happy to do that then great, but if they dont generally wax it off and leave it bare, then its not cool...

man im rambling...>_<...being sexy is about confidence not how much hair you have>

What??? OMG!!! GASP! So it's actually not an urban legend? .. women with hair growing on their legs? Does that mean the "treasure trail" is actually more than an old creepy campfire tale...

Seriously. Imagine if it was highly fashionable and desirable for men to have clean, smooth, silky shaved legs. Electrolysis treatments would be covered along with medical and dental.

Kudos to the person who started this thread. And to those who replied with "gross", etc... just wait until your married.... you ain't seen nothin' yet...lol.

Some men like a little fur, some like it bare....when in a certain situation most men could care less about a little fuzz.

A beautiful hairy woman is quite attractive and I even find femmie mustaches quite charming on a pretty lady. Women are beautiful creatures in all sorts of ways, not just as Madison Avenue depicts them.

To me, a totally shaved woman looks very artificial, but those shavers have plenty of admirerers, since that's the modern trend.

Don't shoot me...I just like women.

Count me in.

Anyone notice how women took up shaving with the invention of the safety razor and electric shaver? Advertising is hugely effective.

I can't imagine shaving pubes, legs or pits with a straight razor.

I would imagine if women never started shaving their legs then it would be seen as perfectly normal and attractive by guys.

Probably if no one ever cut their hair then hair trailing along the ground 4 feet behind us would also seem completely normal. Personally I am a fan of personal grooming.

(sorry for all the double wordings!!!)

I find it interesting that women jump up and down and complain (rightly so) about social expectations have their natural hair removed, but I never hear much from the men complaining about expectations of them to shave their faces...

It's presumably as much of a drag for them. Professionals are expected to shave their faces.
