Seraphim
Were you able to get a doctor appointment? My dr called yesterday after his practice closed and said to try the ice and rest and Aleve first and if that didn’t help in a few days he would prescribe a muscle relaxer but wanted me to try this first. Seraphim
I weighed in at my diet club today and I have lost 5 pounds in two weeks. I met somebody I knew at the grocery store today and she said she was sorry about my father passing. It still isn’t real of course. I did manage to not cry. I miss you daddy. Link to comment

I hear ya. My back is out this week, too. On my 3+ hour trip home today, I had to pull over and walk around because the pain was so bad. Never had to do that before. For me, the most pain occurs while sitting for prolonged periods of time. Walking and standing hurt, too, but they're both better than sitting. Link to comment

And then it just went straight down into the hip flexors and the glutes and trapped the sciatic nerve. I have had sciatica since I’ve been 19 or 20 years old. If I can walk some it is better and laying down is the best. Today I’m actually much better than I have been. I’m still in pain but it’s not horrible. Back pain is god awful. I am sorry you are in pain too. Link to comment

luminousone
I don’t think I have even started grieving yet. That will come and go in waves, likely. And it cycles through the year - holidays, birthdays, other memories that come up. It has been more than a year from my dad’s passing. I miss him. Thinking of you! Link to comment
