hey i was just wonderin wanted to get some conflicting opinions on this. This girl i've been wanting to ask out for a long time is starting to turn to me when shes in trouble now...listen to this....well first of all lets get this through first....she found out i liked her back in NOV and i never asked her out back then....after having time to think about it i think she may or may not have changed her mind....alright now lets get to the story.....anyway usually i IM her every once in a while (every convo has been started by me shes never IM me) anyway the day of this dance (which occurred about 4 hours ago from this very minute) she voluntarily IM's me and asks if i'm going to the dance. Well i thought nothing of it and said "yes" and then asked her if she was going. Well she said that she probably wont go because she is in a spot of trouble with her friends all of whom would be at the dance....they've been ignoring her and stuff and she feels really left out, not to mention her mom was going to take her out shopping that night. Well she continued to say that she wouldn't have anyone to hang out withther anyway....well i saw my chance and said "Well ya can hang out with me, i'm a friend" and she replied with this "I'd Love 2" then after talking she said that she may be able to go but her mom was intent on shopping tonight before the mall got crowded. Well we continued to talk and we made really really friendly convo and i think she slipped me some flirtatious lines. Anyway i gave her some advice on how to deal with her friends (dont worry advice is one thing i am good at giving) and she said it sounded like a great idea and thanked me graciously. Now i have a few questions.....1. Does this convo mean anything at all? 2. If so when should i ask her out and what would be a good first date. 3. some of her friends i know personally....if they stay mad how would i handle that. thanks

Ok here it goes, my friend got this GF and i have to admit he's real obsessive when it comes to this kinda stuff. We're 13 and he's gone out to like 5 movies with her. The only thing is ok here....a few weeks before he asked this girl out he asked this other one out that he thought he was in "love" with and he called her his quote "Muse" then, when she rejected him he like went into a depression for like a week or so. Now this other girl is going out with him and he claims again that he's "In Love" i have a question can true love really exist at 13 years old and further more how does going out to 5 or 6 movies and doing nothing past that count as a serious loving relationship.

Hey, heres the prob.....i asked out this girl named Sarah a few weeks ago and i got turned down for it. Well i'm back up on the saddle and have decided to ask out her friend Mary. Now keep in mind i only asked out sarah like 3 weeks ago so should i go for mary now? Mary also gave me a valentines day gift...only two guys received this, me and the boy that she turned down when he asked her out. So did that valentine mean anything and if so how long should i wait before i ask her out.... P.S. i wouldnt mind some tips on how to go about asking her out in this situation either

K well i asked a girl out at my Schools V-Day Dance...her response was.....a smile and then a no thank you...a good showing her teeth kinda smile then her friends (all who think i'm a great guy) went over with her beside a water fountain area where it was quieter and starting giggleing and talking and jumping up and down....i talked to one of her friends that night and she said that Sarah (the girl) was shocked and she wondered why i liked her (she didnt like anybody at the moment just to let ya know) so i told her friend to tell her that i liked her because 1. Shes very attractive 2. Shes very intelligent 3. shes got a good personality....4 i want to get to know her better...did i do that right thing her and what is gonna happen when i go to school...or what should i do in school this week...ask her out again...talk to her...or just leave it alone and hope she comes to me??? Does Rejection shock basically mean that she didnt have time to think so she said no but she changed her mind....By the way rate what my chances are so i can better understand what your saying 1-10 10 being best

Hey, Well this friend who is a girl that i have and know really well (better than any girl i know and i know a lot of girls) just broke up with her BF....well i honestly had a few feelings for her before but they weren't reginerated until last week when she said that she trusts me and enjoys my company more than any guy including her BF. Well she just broke up with him and shes not crushed shes actually fine with it she broke it off. Well what should my next move be wait and see what happens, back down, or flirt a lot and then ask her out in a little while giving her some time shes a girl who i would love to have a major relationship that has commitment and trust and she wants the same so i figure we're quite compatible in that way other than just knowing everything about each other. I think we can benifet from each others caring nature... what to do what to do...

my Friend you are true blue proof there is a god, I mean dear lord man that was crazy! You spin accross 5 lanes almost get hit 10 times over and then drive back accross without getting hit. Hey one of these friends i have has a boyfriend but he treats her like crap so in recent months shes backed away from him a little and may be on the verge of breakup. Well i know her better than any other guy and she has been acting really different latley saying stuff like "Your So Funny" "I don't know what i'd do without you" and shes been noticeing little things like me saying her name in an IM most guys dont do that she even said this "I know you better than i know my bf" is this a sign that she likes me or is she just being really really friendly at an awkward time in her life? By the way i dont have a GF and she knows i'm free too.

well emmy i thank ya for your reply but turns out i didn't need it. This other girl i know shes like my best friend that i really liked but backed away from the idea because she had a boyfriend is on the edge of relationship collaspe and is now doing her best to make it appearant to me that she likes me. shes said things like "I know you better than i know matt" (her bf) and "Your such a great guy i share a special bond with you" and her friend is trying to hint it too so i should have no problem now. lol guess things worked out with her after all.

Well I'm at that age old enigma of asking a girl out...so easy for some...so hard for others...only problem is that i dont know where i fall. Well i'm in 9th grade now and i'm sorta a nerd never really had a girlfriend only problem is that i'm a nerd who isn't picked or prodded or made fun of because i've been voted Class President and the popular kids have accepted me in a way as a "cool guy, who is very level headed and extremley smart" as quoted by some. Only problem is that i have a great personality when it comes to getting to know people, becoming friends, peacekeeping between friends(even settled a disput today) knowing how to communicate with everyone, just it seems as if when it comes to asking this girl i like out it all falls through the floor, shes so easy to talk to as a friend but so hard to talk to when your attempting to flirt...she knows i like her... but i dont know if she likes me...she thinks i'm a nice guy...but yet we havent known each other for too long...its very weird to me, a whole new concept to take up and i cant seem to conquer it for some reason. She's really smart which is one reason i like her and she is very good looking to me but all the guys i know (every guy in the grade almost) have mentioned nothing of even the slightest interest in her which makes me feel like i'm like 1 of a very low number that like her, making me a possible likley canidate for her to know a guy has taken interest in her (this would be her first relationship) What do ya guys think? Good chance? Rate it from 1-10 10 being the highest i can tell better what your trying to say that way. By the way she's on my student government council so it makes us sorta "on the job friends" and we talk a bit on the internet... theres a dance coming up...would this be a proper time to ask? or in school and suggest a date in a movie theatre style fashion? Last and this is just something i was wondering because lots of my friends have told me this....does this Position of power, and the fact that i'm pretty darn reliable and honest, happen to help out in this situation, i mean i know everyone thats gotta count for something right?

Just to add a little bit more by the way this was another bother i faced.....well it sorta is her religion....shes catholic (i'm methodist) and i'm not saying all catholics are strict but Catholocism is know to be a stricter religion especially when it comes to love and relationships, will this put a dent in the possibility of us dating at the age of 14??? How do you think her parents would react??

Alright so, this is what it breaks down too..... This girl i like "Sarah" (by the way we're both 14)is sending me mixed signals which may derive from a web of lies told by one of my friends that decided to be the bastard he is sometimes. Anyway Sarah and I are pretty good friends, she walks home from school and i do too and we walk together acassionaly just chatting but yet sometimes we hit awkward moments of silence which comes to my first question: Does this happen because we're both nervous or does she just find me boring? Is there a way to tell?? Anyway Sarah doesnt flirt too much with guys which is good because that makes her a pretty safe bet in a relationship, shes what i consider a hidden secret to most guys because not many have noticed her, she sorta hides in the shadows if ya catch my drift (and no that doesnt mean shes a goth, its just a figure of speech) Anyway so i was considering asking her out, but one problem stood and may still stand in the way.... One of my friends who is a bastard sometimes decides he's gonna tell one of her friends the truth......well that friend just happened to be a person i liked a year before. Well harmless right?? no. Another of my friends was sitting nearby and decided he was gonna defend me by telling her i liked her...(this is because i had told him i liked her a year before and he chose to remember it for some reason) Well what i'm thinking is that what if sarahs friend mary (the girl i did like) has told sarah that i like mary instead of her. and furthermore what if mary decided that the thing about me liking her was a lie, and just told sarah i like her while ommitting the info about me likeing mary?? Hey Everyone, So as most stories begin, and this ones long, i like this girl, shes very nice, intelligent, great looking, and shes a mild friend of mine. (by the way i'm 14) Anyway so i'm getting in good with her right? Well i share with a few friends about how i like her in all, one of them is one of those kids who joke around too much and the other is a Japenese Kid who doesnt know how to handle complicated situations, unfortunatley they both ride her bus. Yesterday the kid who jokes (who also didnt know that the japenese kid knew who i liked) started taunting my japensese friend saying "i know who jim likes" anyway unfortunatley the girl i like (mary) was sitting right infront of him and like most girls got nosey and wanted to know. So just to mess around with my head the jokster (mickey) decided he'd lie and tell her i liked one of her friends instead of her (he mentioned the friends name too) Yas (the japenese kid) decided he'd try and defend me (i forgave him for this) he told mary the truth about me. So the response mick and yas got was a "wow hes my friend but i didnt know he liked me" So in light of this situation i got yas and mick this morning to ask her if she likes me (all the while acting like i didnt know what happened, the way i planned, play dumb in other words) She responded with a "I dont know" and thats all they've gotten from her. I was expecting her to confront me at school, it didnt happen but she acted shy and stuff around me then got a little friendlier. Does this mean she likes me and if so what should i do about this??? Hey me and my friends are having a slight battle over what girls think of overweight guys, how much of a difference does it make in attraction as long as the guy isnt totally obese, need truthful answers because i'm defending a friend here

Well I'm inthatchuated with a girl. We're friends (Luckily not the best of friends cause that can get confusing) Anyway it seems everytime i take a glance at her she is also looking back. She's a sorta shy girl, not real shy but I just can't tell if she likes me. I talk to her frequently over IM and i found out we share common interests, which i consider good but still i'm a pesimistic person so i always think on the worst side of things so the slightest amount of doubt in my mind can steer me the other direction. I want to ask her to be my girlfriend or at least ask her out on a date. How should i go about this if i should go about this at all. Thanks for your replys.
