  1. hi there, I was told alot of times and did witness it myself. "People change over time" and if you remain the same, you'll be the one to lose. You've to move on, she might never be the same lady you used to know, love, adore. You've a new job apportunity, you've somethings that allows you to start new. You don't have to die for the reason someone you love changed. You've to live on and climb up in your life, to show her that she made the biggest mistake of leaving you. There has been alot of people out there who were in the same situation as you are. And i do believe there are who chose the path of suicide, and others who chose to path to live on, to be a better man. Look at the two path. the one where they ended their life, got nothing out of it. the one which chose to learn from their mistakes, looks back at it and smile or laugh at how lucky they were. take that job apportunity, move on in life. Easier said than done, but possible. Good Luck, justMe
  2. hi there, I strongly Jitrenda about going ahead with you idea, if you need an extra person to support you in doing so. hehe. Survival of the fittest... *may sound abit weird, but it kinda work the same way here, hehe, well, she's already telling you her problem with her current bf (is he ten years older than her??). and the way you put it, it doesn't seem like she have too strong of a feeling over him. Maybe she's trying to find someone better, who cares more for her. You might just prove to be the right candidate, and oh well, everything's about taking a risk. good luck to you and hope you'll come around with some good news. justMe
  3. Hi Vampryr, It gets pretty weird if you're planning to memorise some conversation starters and then when you come upon someone you want to start a conversation with, you might have problem chosing the right one. I usually start conversation with the other party depending on the situation and what i think interest her. the best I think that you should do is approach someone you know quite well, a close friend... female if possible. and tell her that you've problem starting up conversation with other girls and maybe you can practice abit with her. well, i dun think you should practice by talking to her about ur problem with starting conversation. OR, you can just step right up to someone and introduce yourself. when it gets silent... you can tell her that you're interested in making friends with her, but unfortunately you're not too good at starting conversation or choosing topics and hopefully she can take the initiative to do so. Good Luck to ya. justMe
  4. hi SpIcEz, thanks for sharing a happy moment with everyone here. "Smile and the whole world smile with you, cry and you cry alone" I'm Happy on your behalf and yes, flowers does work wonders. Apologies, congratulations and all... flowers go well with them. =) All the best to you and ur girl. justMe
  5. I think somehow 'chick' should be a compliment, coz guys don't call them 'chicks' if they don't seem to interest the guys. thats what i think. but i do wonder about the word 'babes' hehe.
  6. thanks amberfire too... hehe, just read your post when i sumbitted mine thanking DW and Mar. I'd just get myself more occupied then usually and do my best in life. justMe
  7. thanks for the reply from botha you. hehe... oh well, i guess these things just happens. I actually felt kinda better somehow when I made my post. I guess i needed to say out things that i want to say inside of me but there's no one that i can/am willing to talk about it cause it kinda of makes me a loser. hehehe.
  8. Hi all. I've posted here days ago about my situation. but i guess i'll just make a brief about it for some of you who haven't know. There's this girl I liked for 2 years now but she doesn't have any feelings for me, eventhough we're quite a friend. We practically see each other everyday, basically we were in the same gang of friends. I've tried my luck, but got rejected with the reason she wasn't ready. and so i told her that I would wait and hope that one day when she's ready, we would still be close enough to start something. We used to be very close, but things changed when I expressed my feelings for her. At times when i think about it, I try not to regret that i did. its just that i took a risk and had negative results, hehe. But the problem now is that, I have this feeling that there's someone else she likes out there, because one night when we chat, she suddenly became very unhappy, and told me it was concerning some particular person. It was any normal person's instinct to think that it involves someone she likes. Well, Its not Me, that's for sure, how sad. hehe... Oh well, the thing is, the advice everyone's giving me, to move on in life and there's many other girls out there who I deserve to be with. Anyone knows it's easier said that done when you like someone who doesn't have any feeling for you and u've to 'move on'. Most importantly is time, after a certain period of time, most will 4get about the feeling and be able to move on finally. the big problem for me here is that I've this big bad examination coming up on me, within 2 months' time. I seem to hurt myself internally... i keep thinking about this 'particular' person she mentioned about. all those kinds of things most who're in my situation would think. and with this, I can't seem to be able to concentrate well in whatever I do. So here i ask for advice... on what I should do...? I really really wanna get great grades in this exam, hehe. I did try to forget about her in the past 2 years... i'm a failure so far.
  9. hi. its all up to you to change your attitude, personality for the better. you really can't expect people to accept ur apologies for the mistake you commit over and over again. Its like, if you're caught for speeding and if the officer lets you of for the first time, its ok. if there's a 2nd time and if its the same officer, anyone would know he has to give you the ticket. When you say sorry, you gotta make up to ur words. make that 'sorry' word mean what they really mean. =)
  10. hello strawberrywine. "how long before you guys can talk again depends on you." just a question, would you want to get back together with him? if not, talking to him would be easy for you. You could just call him up ask him how he's doing lately, well, you don't need to do it like 7 times a week or more. just once in a while. As a friend, anyone can do that, right? If he does call you back at times, thats good, if not... just let things be.
  11. oh well, maybe it's just me, but i'd find it really hard to treat her as friends for the moment because I've feelings for her, and that feeling kind of feeling just strikes at me whenever i see her. and the only way i could get rid of this kind of feeling for her was to not see her for a period of time and let the feeling fade. but she's already part of my everyday close friend, and thats one of the reason i couldn't get my mind of her and hurt myself in the end. I hope you're a much different person than me and can control ur feelings between a good friend and a special kinda friend. hehehe...
  12. I feel the pain as you do, DoctorWu, but I totally agree with Micksbabyboo's suggestion. Life will be really hard on you if you wanna stay as close friends and its almost impossible to move on like that. 2 years ago, almost the same thing happened to me. I so much wanna move on in life, and yet stay as friends with her... but I can't, I couldn't seem to be able to let go of this feelings i had for her. About 2 months ago, I did talk to her about it again, and she said she wasn't ready for all these and wanted to be friends... Now, I kinda found out that she's kinda having something going on with another guy... and I was felt very depressed because of that... but all there was to blame was me, because i decided to stick around and be an idiot. It easier said than done, but get on with you life. Meet other new girls out there who're willing to get into a relationship with ya. =) Good Luck, justMe
  13. There this girl i really really like, and she knows that i like her too... infact it's been going on for almost 2 years now. but it's just one sided... I like her more than a friend, and she treats me just as another good friend but no deeper. I'm just hoping that one day, things will change for the better. but tonite after chatting to her, she was very sad. saying something about someone hurting her more than anyone else in her life. well, i didn't know if she had liked anyone then... but the way she put things... it was like someone she liked and she was hurt pretty bad in a way. I tried to offer my help and was willing to hear her out, both out of curiosity and also it hurts me too. I dont know which one hurts me more... whether it's it about finding out that she has feelings for someone else and I'm being an idiot here. or it's because i like her so much that i really love her and it's just too painful to know she's sad because of someone. she doesn't wan any of our friends to know what she told me, saying that it's been going on for almost a month. she just didn't tell me things clearly and it really caused me to think of things otherwise. i keep having negative thoughts... thoughts that hurts me... myself. someone pls give me some advice on how to help myself and how to help her out too...
