You said you hooked up together a few times while apart which means while she was with him. In this case i'd go back to my original advice and ask if you want to be with someone who will cheat? She is a person who is comfortable behaving in a way that is inconsistent with a committed relationship. Very recently. Past behavior is the best indicator of future behavior. If you want this situation that's fine, but then get over the fact that she saw others since you were "too busy". You snooze, you lose. Whatever you wish to call this...hookups,etc. In any case you were "too busy" for her, broke up and she started seeing other men. That's how that works.
