I don't know that I can say anything to take away the nerves or the fear .. but you can see how everyone is rooting for you . Even the ones who are not saying anything (me) .. You are so in my prayers to give you strength and courage and to get this sorted ..infact everyone else can bugger off prayer wise ...you are taking number 1 position . Time is here, i just got up and will go to the hospital in 20mins, 2 hour drive and then it starts. In a way I'm glad it's now here and something is being done! The nerves are still okay, will probably stay when i get there. If i am feeling up for it i will update during the day, if not then later. Pippy thank you so much! In hospital and got a happy pill weehee and morfine Then they screwed the frame on which wasn't nearly as bad as i thought! Went on quick and almost painfree, just a lot of pressure in my head and a heavy feeling but that went quickly. My head is used to it now. Then just had my mri and now it's waiting. Cause there are 3 patients here, my mri was first but that doesn't mean my radiation is. So waiting and still feeling weehhee and dizzy and stoned. Now get my coffee with a straw! Challenge! Then it's waiting again for a talk with doc and unscrewing of the frame. So i can go home in about 2 hours or so. Just got a headache so they gave me more drugs. Yay Link to comment

Radiation took 45min then waiting for the doc to come, tumor had grown 1.4 mm so that explains the symptom increase and it's good that i decided this. Now my head hurts and the holes hurt and i feel sick. Got the medicin dexamethasone for 12 days and that will be bad. But rather that than lose my hearing! Now i can try to relax and heal. Doc told me all there is to expect. Such sweet docs and nurses there! Link to comment

sara-pezzini Posted January 5, 2016 Author Share Posted January 5, 2016 Am home now and slept for more than am hour and now ate a little bit. I'm extremely tired, dizzy, nauseous and have a killer headache! The holes still bleed a bit and if i yawn or cough the holes get pulled at and hurt. But I'm home and can rest and do nothing for a while. I got the bad meds and need to take 18 pills of them today! Yikes! Added to my TN meds so that should really be fun! Bad side effects. Got so many drugs in me today and now these are added as well to prevent my brain from swelling. Now i just hope i will sleep really well on them tonight! Cause last night was just an hour of sleep..... Thanks everyone for thinking of me today! Meant a lot! Link to comment
