boltnrun
What an amazing, amazing woman. A true trail blazer. So strong, such conviction and so incredibly intelligent. She was one in a million. A great loss to the United States.

Batya33
Yes, RIP. I feel so grateful that I was able to see her speak live earlier this year -with my husband and son, too. What memories As one of my friends commented "I want to be like her when I grow up." She was interviewed once and said that the reason she was so attracted to her husband when they first met was that he cared that she had a brain. Love that. Among many other things she said and did. Thank you for all your hard work and lioness qualities.
LaHermes
RIP Justice Ginsberg greatly admired everywhere. AS Bolt said: An amazing woman. On our media today: "Ms Ginsburg, who rose from a working class upbringing in New York City's borough of Brooklyn and prevailed over systematic sexism in the legal ranks to become one of America's best-known jurists, was appointed to the Supreme Court by Democratic President Bill Clinton in 1993. She provided key votes in landmark rulings securing equal rights for women, expanding gay rights and safeguarding abortion rights." " a tireless and resolute champion of justice."" boltnrun
I could never get over how tiny she was! But not tiny in her intellect, her convictions or her accomplishments.

rensilaer
She did more than anyone could be asked to shoulder and never complained. She never got to retire, never got to relax, spend time with family in her Golden Years. What an amazing and accomplished person. We are lesser for her absence, but I'm sincerely glad she's at peace now.
