lost1607307474
^ I tried, I really tried! I've read all of them and I just did not like them! They weren't capturing to me at all. Maybe I would have liked them when I was 14 or so. But nup didn't do anything for me at all Link to comment

greywolf
there were these two girls next to me giggling and talking the whole time. And when edward first showed up everyone started screaming. it was ridiculous. Link to comment
lost1607307474
^ Precisely one of the reasons why I dislike the whole thing so much. It's just another teenage fad.... the younger girls love it so much though. Link to comment
greywolf
^That's why it took me forever to read it. I always saw the books at the book store but i never picked it up because the cover just looked soooo... marketed (i don't know the right word). But my friend read it and told me it was a good book. She told me it was about vampires. I asked, "In the past or modern day?" She said modern day, so then I still didn't want to read it. But she told me how great the book was so I ended up reading it. I had noooo idea it was a love story. hahahah Link to comment
lost1607307474
^ lol fair enough! Do you like it now that you've read it? I've read the first two and I must say I still don't like it! Link to comment

lost1607307474
They did have potential to be better. Great idea but poorly executed. And I guess I can admit that if Edward wasn't a fictional character... I'd be staking him out! Link to comment
kaoticbaby
There seems to be a lot of talk and UNCERTAINTY surrounding the new Twilight sequel, New Moon. So much so that new director Chris Weitz and even author Stephenie Meyer had to link removed explaining the situation. But what about the link removed that the studio, Summit, doesn't want to re-hire "baby-faced" Taylor Lautner as Jacob. Apparently, they don't think he has what it takes to play the werewolf love interest/lead in New Moon. The statements released didn't confirm his return. That was NOT an oversight! Now, reports are that the 26 year-old actor Michael Copon, from Scorpion King 2 (above, bottom), is one of the several actors director Weitz is considering to play the new and larger Jacob Black role. WTH! NOooOOooOOooOooo!!!!!!!!! that doesn't even make sense! Jacob IS fifteen! Link to comment

tinydancer81
I've been sucked in and read all 4 of them. Good story, but at the end of the day thats all it is....a good romantic story. That why it appeals to Teens and women in twenties. I will confess to re-reading all 4 of the books again too. Good stuff. Link to comment
