  1. I don't believe this. ok, I have the perfect opportunity to chat with Logue for a few minutes and he LEAVES! I think he's afraid of being alone with me--you know, dreading to talk. Yet on the phone he was about to ask me out...I don't get it. maybe he just has more confidence on the phone or something...but it's really getting to me. I would ask him out myself, but I'm kinda old-fashioned when it comes to this--I like the guy to ask ME out, not the other way around. And since he's such a close friend of mine, I'd rather him bring it up so I can make sure he feels that way....God, what do I do?
  2. You'll never believe this. Ok, I called Logue to see what time we should meet tonight, and he told me his Dad had just grounded him for something he did on THURSDAY. Does this rot or what? I know his folks, so he's definitely telling the truth. He kept on apologizing to me and said he wants to make it up to me. So I guess Pippin was right about Logue likin me so much. Well, I'll see Logue tomorrow morning at church, so I'll let you guys know what happens. Later!
  3. Hope everything works out, dude. It'd be awesome if you guys hooked up again on your anniversary.
  4. My grandma has a plaque with that written on it. That was written by kat Brown in 1984.
  5. then how about something like: When I see you, it just brightens up my day Everytime I think of you I can't help but smile You've brought the sun into my life again Or something like that? I know it doens't exactly go along with the rest of your poem, but I'm sure you could find a way to incorporte it in. Good luck!
  6. This isn't bad at all--it might be considered a tad sappy from the poetry world, but I know I would love someone to send something like that to me. I like writing poetry, so I'll help you out wiht that line. What's your gf's sense of humor like? Is she always cracking jokes, making you smile? Or is she nonchalant and sarcastic?
  7. Are you sure she's in love with somebody else? I mean, has she told you or is she goin out with someone right now? You should probly talk to her. She could surprise you.......
  8. Thanks for the tips. My best friend said she'd like me to talk with him though, coz she's ended up being a "messenger" for several of her other friends. I'm just gonna wait and see how he acts tomorrow night and I guess I'll go from there.
  9. I'm kinda in the same situation as you. I've got a great guy friend and we just get along so well together. I think he's gonna ask me out seeon, so here's hoping. =} Anywayz, I think it's better if you just be totally honest with her--that's what I would want at least. And hopefully she'll say she feels the same way for you.
  10. Girl, I know just what you're going through. I've got a good friend of mine that I've been crushin on for a couple of weeks now. Recently my best friend Pippin told me that he's been looking at me differently and she can definitely tell he likes me, too. So I'm tryin to get the courage to ask him the "what's goin on with us?" thing tomorrow. I'm glad your guy felt the same for you....I just hope it works out between me and Logan. Eep!
  11. Wow, that girl really IS busy! But hang in there, dude. It could work out. See if you guys could hang out or somethin over summer hols...you know, go to one of her competitions, meet her for lunch after practice, somethin like that. You never know what could come of it!
  12. Don't kick yourself for this--you are NOT the one to blame. This guy was obviously a big @$$ to begin with. Don't let one heartache like this get in the way of other possible relationships, though. My advice to you would be to take things slower next time...REALLY get to know the person before things start happening. Good luck
  13. Don't worry, there's tons of great people out there who are simply unattatched for the time being. I've got a close friend that's very intelligent, pretty........but she hasn't gone out with anyone, either. And I was in your position for quite a while as well. So don't freak out--this happens to tons of great people!
  14. Ok, it's always been a tradition for me and my best friend Pippin to go to the movies the day it comes out. We usually go once or twice a month, and a couple of months ago a guy friend of ours started to come with us. We all have the same taste in music and movies, but we're each unique, too--that way it's never boring! Anyway, at first I was totally cool with this guy hangin with us. I've known him since..........well, I can't even remember how long. He's a pretty cool guy and everything, but I noticed that lately he's been acting differently around me. Well, Pippin's started noticing these things, too. Last night on the phone we put two and two together, and found that he likes me and (after keeping this secret for two weeks) I finally told Pip that I like the guy too. Well, we were all supposed to go see this play Saturday night, but Pippin's family is going on a fishing trip. So I asked my friend if he was serious about still going (HE brought the subject up, mind you). He told me he was, and provided he wasn't grounded, we'd go tomorrow night. I'm kinda freaked about what's gonna happen. I mean, he's one of my best guy friends, and there's the fact that he's younger than me....and I just found out this morning that his folks are going to see the play, too. But we're both determined on NOT sitting with parents. So what should I do? I mean, I really like this guy, but I'm afraid to bring this up with him, especially since his folks are gonna be there. He hasn't mentioned anything about us goin out alone, and with my best friend gone, I'm kinda adrift when it comes to advice. So can I get some help here?!
