gullible_soul
A friend and I were having an argument about something during health class... and our teacher didn't even know the answer to it. (Can you believe that?) Can someone get pregnant through anal sex? I believe they can, my friend says no. What's true? Thanks, and this is a super awkward question.... Link to comment
xmrth
You can't... they're in no way connected. You can pass AIDS and whatnot, but you can't get someone pregnant through anal sex, of course not. Do any of the 'things' that come out the vagina and the anus ever switch? They're in no way connected... at all... only if sperm goes near the vagina or goes into it and whatnot. The act of anal sex isn't going to get anyone pregnant. Link to comment
Beec
No, unless some how, the sperm gets into the vagina, perhaps by coming out of the anus and entering the vagina. And if you are having anal sex, don't let that happen, because it is likely to lead to a urinary tract infection. Link to comment
agent1607307371
You can't. The anus goes up into the digestive tract, nowhere near the uterus. Pay more attention in biology. And I think it was more a case of your teacher not wanting to answer, than not knowing. Link to comment
rose2summer
You cannot get pregnant from anal sex, only as beec mentioned, if some sperm seeps out of the anus into the vagina. However, that should not happen, because it's very important to wear condoms during anal sex (a condom would trap the sperm) because E.coli can be spread into the vagina or urethra which is very unhealthy and causes bacterial infection. Boughs
What kind of teacher doesn't know the answer to sucha thing? Bewilders me that a Health teacher wouldn't know something such as that. Link to comment
Mythical_Suicide
I think Agent said it well, I dont think it was so much the teacher not knowing just the teacher not wanting to answer. Link to comment

kiasuten
Hah, we had a similar argument in my health class 2 years ago. My health teacher kept telling us that you could get pregnant, but he was a really bad liar, and everyone knew it. It's obvious that you can't get pregnant that way. I suppose he just wanted everyone to refrain from any sexual activities. There are way too many pregnant girls at my school, anyway. Link to comment

With teachers like that, I'm not surprised. Link to comment
