They are looking to see if he has a permanent TBI , because the neurologist still isn’t happy with his processing speed plus they want to look for signs of dementia since that killed his father. If I could tell the neurologist I would say his processing speed was never “ average “ speed to begin with, but it is best they look because he has had 3 major brain injuries in 20 years and many more minor ones. Popular Post Seraphim Posted August 1 Author Popular Post Share Posted August 1 Yay!!! He has no lasting physical brain injury from the trauma . The brain has repaired its self. He does have two tiny plaque spots that could be just aging or maybe like his father he could get dementia. The neurologist isn’t worried but recommends another MRI next year to check on the spots . 5 Link to comment
