rocio
I heard somewhere once that a guy playing with his wedding ring indicates some kind of discomfort with his marriage or something of the sort. Ever since, I start to feel awkward when I'm talking to a man and he does this. Is it really some sort of subconscious sign or is it meaningless? Link to comment
RedDress
Meaningless. It's a thing. It's on their finger. It's fun to play with. That's as far as it goes... Link to comment
OptomisticGirl
I agree with RedDress. I don't know what L does with his but I'm constantly turning my because if it sits in one place on my finger for too long - since I never take it off - it gets uncomfortable. Link to comment
Fudgie
That's total BS. It's just something to fiddle with. Or perhaps the ring isn't sized right and it's irritating him. I really think people read too much into that. Link to comment
Capricorn3
Meaningless. I do that with rings which are a little too big for me and drive me crazy, so I fiddle with them all the time. I wonder who comes up with these stories - total nonsense (imo). Link to comment
Miss Firecracker
I do it with my rings all the time. Link to comment
OptomisticGirl
L says that he only fiddles with his if it's hurting. It's not too small but if he has a swollen finger for any reason it can be painful, then he'll twirl it around or remove it for a minute to give the finger a break. He said he dosen't play with it normally though. Link to comment
Seraphim
I think it is meaningless too. My husband has even lost a few wedding bands. I don't think it means he is uncomfortable with his marriage. Link to comment
Alezia
I play with mine because it's too loose and keep twisting it around. Usually the diamonds ends up on the wrong side, so it looks like I just have a gold band - so I keep trying to put it back to the right side. Link to comment

My engagement ring and the band are too loose and always spin around so I have to keep righting them, especially in the winter. Link to comment

It's true though. I always play with my rings. My fiance is one of those types who can never stop moving and fidgeting so I'm sure that when he gets his ring, he'll be playing with it too. I think that what you read is probably just a superstition. Link to comment

The ring actually drives me crazy and I'm sure some people around me think that I can't stop touching it, really I can't because it won't stay in one place. LOL Link to comment
