I know how hard it is to have chronic pain, especially when it's something other people can't see, it's like if they can't see it it doesn't exist to them and they think a person is fine. I have osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, ibs and now getting testing for a blood clotting disorder. The arthritis is the worst. I'm only 36 and have days I can barely move or walk. No one should stay with their doctor if they aren't happy with them. I know......I tossed and turned all last night wondering what to do about this. I am having an Interstim put in on January 11th...it requires a LOT of adjustments, and he DOES NOT LISTEN TO ME. The thought of starting over with a new Dr., after waiting MONTHS to get in to see this one leaves me in tears. I am going to try every herbal approach known to man. There HAS to be an answer to this...there just HAS to be. I was NOT put on this earth to lay on my couch and cry day after day after day....... Link to comment

HE is supposed to be one of the best. He has a sh***ty bedside manner and does not LISTEN. If I tell him "I don't feel it there" he'll tell me I do anyway. I called him yesterday and he did not return my call. I called again today, he is out of the office. My GUT is telling to get rid of this guy but I am SO CLOSE to having this procedure done that could HELP ME SO MUCH that I don't want to. To get in with another urologist would probably take well over a month. If I do the Interstim Trial and it's a failure (which I pray it is not) then I'll go elsewhere, that I KNOW for sure. But I looked up as much information as I could for you and there are so many different treatments out there and I did come accross Interstim Therapy and it looks like it works really well with good reports. I will keep looking for more info just in case I've missed something. Lots of Herbal remedies that really work.. I have had treatment in the past for my bladder as it kept shrinking so I was pretty much in the bathroom all the time so I understand a little of how you must be feeling. I've just been diagnosed with Under Active Thyroid and they tell me I have to take medication for the rest of my life and my prolactin level is 3 times what it should be.. Body aches all the time and I get so tired. I know your pain is so much worse and I wanted to try to find a way of taking it from you. I know you mentioned that he is top in his area of medicine, but if he lacks skills that aren't strictly medical and if he does not know about treatments that people who aren't even doctors have been able to find out exist, maybe he's not the right doctor for you. I am just so close to this treatment...it is the most advanced. There are very limited treatments for this condition. I guess I am still going on Faith...there is a small amount of Faith left. My mother wants me to be Hospitilized because I am suicidal, but I won't do it because my cat, who I love more than myself, needs insulin shots morning and night. Link to comment

OMG Allie please don't even think about it.. I know how hard this is for you honestly with the pain and it doesn't help you he is acting this way. Wheres the support when you need it from him I personally could not bare it if anything were to happen to you. Your such a wonderful human being and so selfless.
