I want to make sure we are making that distinction. Regarding the masturbating part, I don't see the relevance of that comment. Is it okay to be entertained by a death movie but not okay to be turned on by a rape movie? This thread is about the OP's bf masturbating to rape porn. Even genuinely great people can have certain odd or even twisted deep rooted fantasies and they are just that, fantasies. They would never want to act out such an act and only enjoy the imaginary of it. On the other hand there are those individuals who would jump at the opportunity to act out their fantasies if they had the chance and if absorbed enough in them over time can act out what they watch. I would say if they are staged porn videos, meaning set up to look like rape for the thrill of it then it's arguably okay but if they are videos of women actually getting raped then this is a red flag that cannot be dismissed. It's criminal evidence that he is not only enjoying but also withholding from the authorities and if he is profiting producers of such nasty real life acts by means of watching them then you should really rethink your position in the relationship. How long have you been with your boyfriend? Do you know him very well, over time, as a person? If the relationship is fresh and you don't know this guy all that well get out of it now. As far as I know, the idea of rape is just crossing a line for some people. Rape is not something to take lightly. I don't think it's something we should take in our right hand and jerk off to. Watching violence is different to masturbating to rape in the sense that the latter is mimicking the act. If someone watched violent movies while punching their dog, I would think they had an issue.
