UCLAMike
Lets get this straight. Your ex has moved on and living life without you. So in a sense, your ex will receives a text message from practically a stranger. They are supposed to feel good that someone in the past couldn't get over them? Are you hoping that they give you some attention back? This isn't love. Link to comment
UCLAMike
I will not. I don't think anyone should. I want to be friends with u. You have a very sound mind. Link to comment
and again
No i wouldnt send a txt, though it`s a perfect time for a dumper to send one if they are having any regrets. But definatly not for a dumpee to massage a dumpers ego. Link to comment

ToodlePip
I was actually thinking of going over to hers naked with underpants made of roses, and demean myself completely. J/k, I'm giving my mum and sister some flowers cos they have been there for me. My ex wasn't, so she gets silence. Link to comment

thorpe
I've sent my ex a valentine's card for the past 12 years. She doesn't send me one, only Christmas cards and emails. Link to comment
yankeefan74
I work with my ex, and her boyfriend sent her roses today. How sweet. That was a special moment in my life. Especially since this morning she said "You should send me some flowers since i'm probably not going to get anything from him today." Good times. lol Link to comment
JohnGalt
With the exception of thorpe, who is a special case - anyone else that is a dumpee thinking of sending a dumper a valentine card, don't do it. If you are a dumper, don't do it unless you're either 1) cruel or 2) genuinely want to reconcile. Link to comment

It's nice to be special........maybe I should be in special ed I agree with JohnGalt though, probably best not to contact the ex on Valentine's Link to comment

My Ex - the dumper - sent me a Christmas card in which he wrote "Tis the season for love and forgiveness". BLAH! That came 5 days after I ran into him at a concert and watched him kiss a new babe he was dating! CRUEL! And for us dumpees, it's a mistake to give them your power again. Link to comment
