faraday
I read this last week and keep thinking about it. A story about what commitment means. I like it ] Link to comment
DoF
Not sure if it's so positive, I guess in the end. This is exactly what happens when people stop working HARD at relationship and settle/get into comfort zone. Comfort zone/settling when it comes to ANYTHING in life = the devil. Never stop working hard. Link to comment
faraday
I thought it was incredibly positive. They found each other again. Many don't. Many don't even try. Idk, I liked it. Every relationship has periods of complacency. Every relationship has struggles. It's how you come out of them at the end that matters. Link to comment
Fudgie
I like it. And yes counselling is hard but it can really help in the right situations. Resentment is easy to build. When you stop communicating (probably what happened here) and start having unspoken expectations that are not met, that's what happens. I'm glad these two were about to "get back" to each other. Sounds like they were actually better off having this period of not-so-great time because it forced them to work together and become stronger as a couple, better than before. Link to comment
Seraphim
I like it. It sounds like my own story. We were always peddling hard through life. Now we have much more time for each other. Link to comment
