I would feel good he/she was wishing you the best and that it was good to see you. I wouldn't write them back with any info on the new love interest is not any of their business.

I would feel happy and relieved that it was a nice meet-up and that they seemed to want to be friends. Unless, of course, I was hoping for a reconciliation.
