Not missing your bf/gf when they are on vacation

No, it could mean that your love is more secure and mature, beyond the infatuation stage. A week is not that long..people who are in the infatuation stage of a relationship feel lonely and miserable when their partner is out of their sight for 5 minutes. That is not necessarily love, that is neediness and obsession. When love becomes mature and healthy, a person can go away for a week without it being the end of the world.

If you can't go a week without each other, that means you have an unhealthy dependency on each other. Real love is not so fragile that it can't go a week apart and not worry about it. In fact, real love can survive all kinds of separations. You can be happy apart because you are off doing other things that are important to the individual and don't need to be yoked every second of the day to your partner to prove you love each other.

You should be happy that your partner is off relaxing and having a little fun! It is always an unhealthy relationship when either of the people is jonesing for the other like a heroin addict in need of the drug. That kind of feeling is usually only 'normal' in young teenagers first experiencing love, but once people are adults, you need to be able to stand on your own two feet and be happy with life in general rather than clinging to another person so much they can't go away for a week or two without you falling apart.
