anicole
I started working out a month ago and I'm not noticing any changes to my belly area. I have a personal trainer 2 times a week I also do toning once a week and R.I.P.P.E.D. I have not noticed a difference in belly fat. I am eating healthier no processed foods at all, I drink lots of water, veggies and fruit protein shakes. I am 5,4" 145lbs which fluctuates to 150 since I started working out. I work out a total of 4 days a week, I was planning on have some definition in my belly area, I only see some changes in my legs and arms. Link to comment

anicole
Could it be you are bloated from the shakes? I haven't heard of that, but even on the days I don't have my shakes it's the same. Link to comment

dias
My guess, you haven't diminished your daily caloric intake. Healthy food has calories too. If your weight stayed the same then I suggest dropping your daily caloric intake by 150-200. Link to comment
Wiseman2
Why are you trying to pack on the pounds with all these high carb, high sugar shakes? It sounds like you are lacking in hydration and protein and way overdoing the vegan high carb low nutrition stuff. Go online and determine your protein needs and lay of the high calorie shakes. I'm not doing many fruit smoothies except for vegan chocolate banana. Link to comment
Batya33
I would cut way back on the shakes. Eat real food and do your best to choose unprocessed food. Everything in moderation. The very best thing for your diet is plain water, not shakes. Try to double your intake of water if it is less than 6-8 glasses day. Link to comment

Wiseman2
Unless you had oral surgery lay off the trendy shakes, smoothies, etc. Eat real food especially lean protein and a variety of fresh produce. Link to comment
dias
My daily caloric intake is 1,200 Pretty low. So you either don't count them correctly or you don't have a good workout routine. How much time do you spend in cardio? Link to comment
anicole
I have an app that I use, to take note on my calorie intake. I do approx 2 hours of cardio. I also take mx4 classes along with r.i.p.p.e.d. and toning. Altogether I workout approx 6 hours weekly. Link to comment

mustlovedogs
Taking that few calories combined with intense workouts can push your body into starvation mode. Are you netting 1200 calories? Ie 1200 AFTER workouts? Also, I agree with clean foods. Link to comment

mustlovedogs
Did you know nutrition data can be off by 20% and still be legal? There's just a lot of factors. Also, that is a LOT of sugar. Same amount of sugar as 5 peeps. Link to comment
Wiseman2
Agree. Poor nutrition won't help with workouts. And 4 weeks is too soon to see major changes. Real food. Lean Protein. At least 60 g/day. At least 64 oz of water. Fresh vegetables. ] Link to comment
charity
I disagree. Four weeks is enough to see changes if you are eating 1,200 cals and working out. I am the same height and weight as you and I eat nearly 2000 cals per day and I don't work out. If I was eating as little as you say you are, I'd have easily lost at least 8 lbs in four weeks. So, something is wrong. Could you be incorrectly counting calories? Important question.....After your day of eating 1,200 cals are you hungry? I ask this because 1,200 cal is very little and you would be quite hungry eating this amount of food... If you are not hungry and you feel satisfied I would hazard a guess that you are counting incorrectly and consuming more than you think. Link to comment
