SilentLife Posted February 28, 2007 Share Posted February 28, 2007 hey theres somthing really stressing my at the moment, during sex i somtimes have problems keeping my erection up im 18 and i ve FINALLY met a girl who loves me back, during foreplay i have no problem what so ever. but sometimes it is like i have no sex drive at all. i masterbate usally daily could this be it? im not going to anymore see if it helps but its really stressful im only 18! and when i do get a sex drive i have no problems at all i can last as long as i wont. its really strange. any advice? thanks. evidica Posted February 28, 2007 Share Posted February 28, 2007 Stop watching porn and masturbating. Also, try to develop a more open relationship sexually with her. If you do that you will not be as tense. If you are tense it may prevent you from being able to have an erection. I had the same issue, for awhile I had to drink some whiskey to relax me. Dont drink too much alcohol if you do though, otherwise you just make it worse. Link to comment

I was with an ex-bf one time and he seemed to have a similar problem. I don't know.. Maybe he was wacking it too much too... That would make a guy lose an erection when it came to sex? Cardinal Posted March 7, 2007 Share Posted March 7, 2007 the penis rings trap blood. you can even have sex when you othewise wouldn't have an erection...i.e. the rigidity is gone. the blood is left in there and thereforeeee makes for a functional unit. More blood also means more sensitivity usually. More sensitivity makes achieving an erection easier if you had just lost one. the little condoms try to push blood out. the really crappy designs are very tight at the tip. Applying a squeezing pressure to the tip is one suggested way for a woman to help a man keep from orgasming and to make him lose, not gain an erection. If the condom is too small you often can't even get all the blood in there from a full erection. add in the psychological factor having to wear something to small and down it goes. You don't have to disclose tmi. Many people who have used 5-6 brands of condoms probably have found at least one that is ill-designed like that. Link to comment

For SOME guys it causes them to not become erect because their libido is lowered everytime they cum. For others it just makes them last longer. And I'm sure there are others where it has no effect. Plus, he had sustained some nerve damage through pro sports... For what it's worth from a gal's point of view, it didn't make me see him any differently. Still thought he was a virile hunk. Yes, durex orgasms are not the greatest thing in the world. One big reason condoms make me last so much longer is that it becomes to sensitive and burns everytime I get closer to orgasm. Its just a speed bump in your brain that you need to get over. My advice... try not to think about it, get drunk/ stoned if you have to so that you dont. Also get yourself some Astroglide (lube) so that during sex you dont have any problems. Sometimes things dont want to agree down there if im not rock hard, or if shes not really 'ready to go' Ive found that some lube really helps ease things along. Not to mention it feels great.
