DaisyHope
What would you guys think if a girl sorted a picnic in the park for a second date....? Link to comment
happy_snapper
I'd like it. Seeing as it's a second date, I'd prefer it if she suggested a picnic and asked what kind of food I'd like (rather than a surprise picnic). I'd probably suggest that we both bring food to share. I think it works well as a second date. Link to comment
cbh1979
Excellent idea. I for one would love something like that. Link to comment

Dcgent
bring drinks and small bites and i think you will make a hit. Link to comment
Dcgent
although, what did you do on the first date? How did you meet? A picnic is a great idea...but it is also intimate. I am not sure how you guys meet, interact. personally, I would probably hold off on a picnic until the 5th date or so...but that is just me. I personally like to progress to different activities... drinks...dinner...museum...games...picnic....hike...ballgame...etc.... Plan dates that cover different activities and times of the day...that way you find out about the person in a well rounded way. Link to comment

fifregister
No I think DCGent is right. A picnic seems very "couply" and requires a bit of effort on your part. Fun on the second date should be a little more effortless. But YOU know the guy and what he would enjoy, so did you ask him what he wanted to do? We probably need more context. Link to comment
BrianH46
Cute especially if you bring favorite foods and drinks. Link to comment
Sportster2005
What would you guys think if a girl sorted a picnic in the park for a second date....? As long as you didn't put a diamond ring in the whine, it would be fine. ( I meant wine, hmmmmm Freudian slip?) Seriously I think it's a wonderful idea. But it doesn't matter. It will appeal to some, and not to others. Give it a shot. If he's into you, it won't matter what you plan. Link to comment
